Who drove you to the hospital when you went into labor?
SO/BF/ DH? A friend? A family member?
Or did the ambulance take you?

I just hope I dont go into labor at work! Thats my main fear. Hopefully my husband will be around and then he can drive me. I think a cab would be way expensive, if I didnt have anyone to drive me i'd rather call the ambulance

My baby's dad drove me.
Hopefully with this one, DH will be able to take me, but he is at work all day, so I don't know what I will do if I go into labor while he is gone. I guess just sit at home and wait for him to get here?!
*We don't have taxis around here *

My labor began in the morning, I sent DH off to work thinking it might be awhile and I wanted some privacy to work through it and mop the floors, lol.
I called him to come home around 11am, we drove to the hospital about 2 hours later, 25 minute ride.

My husband will drive. Even if I’m at work when labor begins, his work is only at most 15 minutes from mine, and then from my work we would be about 20 minutes max. to the hospital. Plenty of time. If I go into labor at home, we’ll be even closer.

My husband was still only my boyfriend when our daughter was born but he was the one that drove me to the midwifery and he will do it again this time as well

we live in NYC and don't own a car here... we took a cab both times. for my first labor, i had to go to the hospital twice. on the second run, no cabs were in sight, so we had to take car service. for my second labor, the cab driver was so stressed out and cursing everyone in his path. i felt like we were in a scene in a movie. i almost did give birth in the taxi, because i arrived at the hospital at 9cm... I gave birth about 10 minutes after that exam.

I was going to be induced so my husband drove us. The hospital has valet parking for people going into labor so it was really easy to just go right in. My mother drove her own car so she could come and go as needed.

I drove myself. I originally went because I didn't feel 'right' (I wasn't in active labor) so the doctor sent me for a blood draw and urinalysis- ended up being diagnosed with ICP and was induced on the spot.

I drove myself. My water broke at midnight. The nurses told me to observe and call back in the morning. 7am nothing was happening so I drove myself to the hospital where they checked me and confirmed I ruptured.
