Great! She ate a lot, ripped her bib off and splattered yoghurt everywhere and declared "uh-oh" when she'd had enough and dropped her plate/leftovers on the floor. Ha ha. Meal times are fun

They did ok. We ordered Japanese. Charlie ate his miso soup and had one shrimp tempura, one piece of chicken katsu, and maybe 2 small pieces of chicken teriyaki. Probably like 10 bites of food total.
Olive did just a little bit better because she ate a little more chicken teriyaki.

Awesome! She scarfed down dinner, which is a huge improvement over last night - glancing at the plate and tossing the whole thing over her shoulder onto the floor.

They both did well. We went out to eat italian. They shared a minestone soup, linguine and clams, and a slice of cake. My son said it's his favorite restaurant now.

Amazing. The kid devoured an artichoke like nobody's business, then had some fish, sweet potatoes and salad.

Eh, she did okay - she hasn't been eating much lately and I feel like when she does it, it's all fruit!

He did alright. He ate some garlic bread, all of his green beans and 2 pieces of lettuce from my salad. He didn't want anything to do with his chicken. Andddd he threw his fork onto the floor 3 times. Sigh.

She ate fish, some rice, a few cheezits, and 1/2 of a fruit pouch.

Really good tonight! She has been teething and eating practically nothing all week so tonight when she ate lots of tofu, miso soup, edamame, rice, gyoza and veggie tempura I was THRILLED.

Well, she had popcorn and broccoli for dinner. So I guess I'm the one who failed.

The whining is going to infiltrate dinner too? Oh nooooo!! Haha. I don't know maybe food will be an exception since the whining is everywhere else now!! To answer your question, dd did exceptionally well with dinner! It was sort of random stuff but stuff she liked. She is really into strawberries these days. I think they feel good on her gums...the top two molars are still cutting through.
@luckypenny: My daughter had tofu too. She loves it. Tofu in miso soup was one of the first solid/table foods she ate and it has stuck. I wondered if she was the "only" toddler to like tofu!

@googly-eyes: our little sushi place down the street always puts lots of extra tofu in her soup. She calls it "baby tofu" and looooves it!

hahahhahahaha!
C and I have been at war over eating all day- he's got a cold and some teething going on, so he wanted nothing but yogurt today.
I worked tonight, so I told my husband good luck and left dinner up to him- apparently C ate an entire tray of In N' Out fries. At least he ate, lol!

@googly-eyes: There is usually a lot of whining at dinner...
I don't want to eat. I want to eat. I want milky. NO MILK! No chair!
Water please? I don't want water!

Last night she ate good, but we've been battling the "no feeding the dog" issue. She's been so bad about it lately, and it's carried over to the daycare puppy...not good. She's the only child at daycare that doesn't listen to the "no feeding" rule, she "sneaks" and we have to break her of this habit!
