@MaisyMay: glad she had a good first day!!

@MaisyMay: Awwww what a cutie! It would be very hard, and as a WOHM it IS hard, some days are better than others but that doesn't mean you don't miss your LO. Just try to focus on work, it makes the day go faster (I was more productive my first month back than EVER!)

@MaisyMay: I hate leaving my LO too. For me, I always tell myself that no matter what I have to accomplish at work, that nothing will be harder than leaving my LO in the morning. After that, I focus on the fact that I will get to be with her again in a few hours . . . and I only take it one day at a time. (((hugs)))

Uh, I just saw the pic and my heart broke. Hope your transition is going smoothly.

@MaisyMay: Aww, she is such a cutie! I'm glad the first day went well for both of you. I think transitioning back part-time at first makes things a little easier. Even still, it's so hard to leave them on that first day. I am already dreading it, and I still have two months left of maternity leave!

I remember when I was first leaving Owen at daycare, someone told me that even though the day would feel really long for me, to him, it didn't really register whether I was gone five minutes or five hours. I have no idea if that is true or not, but it made me feel a little better.
