How do you collect hand expressed milk? Do you stick a bottle in front of the stream? I only get little dribbles so that doesn't really work for me.

I use the flange and pump parts. It still drips a bit, but works well enough. It takes practice to hand express! I can do it pretty well on one side and almost not at all in the other.

I just hold the bottle in front. I learned from my LO the best way to "milk" myself. She holds on a certain way that gets more milk out.

I just use a bottle. I put my nipple in it so t doesn't spray everywhere.

Same as @LaineysMom: - I just put my nipple partly into a bottle. Leaning forward a bit helps. I've tried using the flange sometimes, but I've ended up spilling or dripping on myself, so the bottle just seems easier.

I hand express into a Tommee Tippee bottle (the wide neck kind) and like @shopaholic: said, leaning forward helps.
