My son is 18 months old. We will stop breastfeeding at 2 years old which is April 18th of next year. Right now, we are nursing at 7 am, 12 noon, 6 pm, 10 pm and at some point in the middle of the night. My work schedule is changing next semester and I think it is going to make breastfeeding harder. I probably won't be able to do the noon and 6 pm feedings.

Should I just do the 10 pm, middle of the night and morning feedings? Should I try to limit other feedings? It's really hard for me to limit feedings if he is home with me (weekends).

How have you weaned? What worked? I guess I was hoping he would self wean in the next 6 months but that is probably a pipe dream.
