Has anyone had clearly recognizable symptoms in the first week post-O? How early did you notice your earliest symptoms and what were they?

In retrospect, I had this weird sinus attack--like hours of constant, constant sneezing (several times a minute), at about 6-7DPO. It wasn't something I considered as a pregnancy symptom, because holy weird!, but it only ever happened when I was pregnant (three times, ugh).
I also had one single, burning nipple (for a few hours) at 7DPO.

With my first, I had instant bloating even before implantation bleeding. With my second, I had sore boobs but not until 15 dpo. This time, I had a massive cold that wouldn't go away (I was sick a month before too so it was odd to have yet another cold).

With my first- extreme exhaustion for one day at 6 DPO. With my second- same symptom, but at 8 DPO. That's really the only syptom I had until around 7 weeks.

I had really sore breasts seemingly right after I ovulated and my sense of smell got a bit crazy before I knew I was pregnant. I also remember having a few bouts of blood when I blew my nose.

4 1/2 weeks! I knew I was preggo because I always get this dizzy/faint feeling only when I'm pregnant. I tested 9dpo and got a very faint positive

in the 2nd week of the TWW i had a metallic taste in my mouth and was also burping a lot.

I had a positive test at about 5 weeks after feeling kinda sick for a few days.

Very early on with both pregnancies. With the increased blood flow, my PVC starts to act up and gives me frequent chest pains. It's the best indicator for me.

I had a stabbing pain in my uterus and a bout of nausea the same day... About 7dpo.

I don't know exact dpo, but around 10 dpo (CD24) I started feeling really worn out, but my mom was visiting me so I thought it was just tiredness from doing lots of sightseeing with her. I also had to pee a ton! I tested on CD28 (I think it was 14dpo) and got a bfp--on that day and the next couple I felt like I had the flu, I was super achey. I wasn't planning to test until CD32 but the fatigue and aches made me try testing earlier.
ETA: I also had some cramping about a week past O, but I'd had that for the past 2 months during bfn cycles so I didn't think anything of it!

With this pregnancy, I had twinges in my uterus within days of O. I also just felt funny and lightheaded. I came down with one of my worst colds as an adult before the end of the TWW and also had what must have been implantation bleeding about 5-6 days before AF.
With my first, I just knew. We were NTNP and I woke up with a bad stomach ache probably a week after O and it hit me and I just knew I was pregnant. I didn't test for another 2 weeks though.

I still say my skin went from dry to oily the day of fertilization. So oily I had to start blotting every hour. I was TTC but I didn't even relate this as a pregnancy symptom because it was so early. But sure enough I was pregnant! Still is super oily at 27 weeks. Can't wait to have my normal skin back.

I didn't have any symptoms during the 2ww except night sweats a couple of nights around 9-10 dpo. I thought I was out bc I had those on non-bfp cycles sometimes. After bfp the earliest symptoms were sore breasts and mild nausea around 5.5 weeks. Good luck!!

@Mrs. Confetti: with C, I knew about 7DPO that something was "off". I was exhausted and going to bed around 7pm when I'm normally a night owl. My breasts were so sore and it hurt to walk up steps. They were also rock hard! I also had a lot of discharge which isn't normal for me. I took a test at 10DPO but it was negative. It was positive at 12DPO!
Same symptoms with both of my losses.

Early symptoms for me were exhaustion and being out of breath along with some uterine pain/cramping that were unusual for me pre AF.

I got my positive test at 9 dpo. I was testing before that because something felt "off" like others have said. I think my biggest thing was bloating. I was soooo bloated leading up to the days before I tested...maybe starting around 6 or 7 dpo? And at maybe 8-10 dpo (I'm not sure when) I felt like my boobs had increased in size...it was noticeable to myself and DH.

5-7 dpo I was super constipated! And I never am!
9dpo shooting cranps that stopped me in my tracks at work and I knew it was implantation. And I got bloated and crampy from then on.
10dpo wine tasted like crap. Super gassy.
12 dpo tested positive!
Got sore boobs around 5 wks

With my second, I was nauseous at 10 DPO, so I tested and got a positive! I think that as the earliest I felt any symptoms.

I felt really tired for a few days, around 5-8 dpo. So tired that I took naps. I tested at 9 dpo and got a positive.

I didn't realize anything out of the ordinary until after I got my BFP. No idea when that was because we weren't trying. My main symptom after BFP was exhaustion.
grapefruit / 4120 posts
I know this is supposedly impossible before implantation but with my first the DAY AFTER... you know... I all of the sudden felt dizzy/nauseous and almost passed out. Less than two weeks later, BFP.
cantaloupe / 6869 posts
I really had no symptoms until I was 4 weeks and I had already tested positive at that point.

With my first, the only symptom was feeling like my period was coming but earlier than usual.

With this baby, I had ridiculously early symptoms. At about 3 DPO, the veins in my boobs bulged, and my nipples got HUGE. I tried to pass it off as something, anything, but I think both DH and I had strong suspicions, because they've only done that the three times I've been pregnant.
By about 7DPO, I had bloating was extremely thirsty/needed to pee a lot. I also got really lightheaded really easily and was extremely tired. I had a sore throat around 9DPO and got VERY nauseous around that time, too. I was still not terribly convinced, because I didn't feel any implantation cramping, but at 10/11 DPO, I did feel a few brief pinching cramps in my back. I got an evap in the evening of 12 DPO and had a very barely positive beta (7.8) at 13 DPO.
It clearly was something, because I'm 20 weeks today

very tired the week i got my bfp and lower back started feeling a bit sore. also super cranky and bloated! and cramps were much different than when af is coming, more mild and quick.

With E I registered as pregnant in a bloodtest at 7DPO so implantation was super early!! 5 and 6 DPO I was exhausted and dizzy and 7DPO I took a 3 hour nap (and, outside of pregnancy and newborn days, I'm not usually a napper).
With #2 I don't know because I wasn't thinking about anything as symptoms- I was surprised to find out I was pregnant at 5 weeks (and 5 months PP). MS started the very next day after I got my BFP.

Vivid dreams, pinching/cramps, and extra emotional- in a good, happy tears kind of way!

@Mrs. Confetti: Just chiming in to say eeeeeee! Fingers crossed. Can't remember how early I started feeling symptoms. I do know my first ones were that my breasts hurt, major moodiness, weird food cravings/aversions, hated the smell of coffee beans being ground in Trader Joe's.

I don't think I really had any. I didn't have morning sickness at all, so that would be a big one. I did feel kind of period like things, I guess, but for the most part I didn't feel pregnant til I started getting bigger and feeling movement.

I wrote a post with all my symptoms by DPO. Let me find it...

I didn't get any real symptoms until I was already 6 weeks pregnant. I had implantation bleeding though, so I knew I was pregnant. My first symptoms came together at 6 weeks - nausea & bloating.

I had flu-like symptoms when I got my BFP. Then the first real pregnancy symptom was extreme fatigue at 4 weeks. Very drastic change from feeling normal to feeling full body exhaustion.

@pregnantbee: just hanging out here in the TWW, playing the crazy symptom spotting game - nothing to report (still far too early, and honestly, just not thinking it is my month...time will tell I guess!).
pear / 1799 posts
My first sign (for both pregnancies) was a sore throat & cold symptoms. This happened in week 3 or 4 ... so right after implantation, during the TWW. I also had sore nipples, but I feel like those weren't really noticeable until after my bfp in week 4.
pomegranate / 3225 posts
10 DPO I had a metallic taste in my mouth. That's how I knew to test. I had the same with my daughter.
Other than that, I have not had many symptoms, a little cramping and having to pee a lot

About 11 days after I think we conceived, I had period-like cramps (on our way to Mexico!) But I was due to get my period in the middle of our vacation, so I kind of dismissed it. I had an inkling that I was actually pregnant though, because they felt slightly different. On our second-to-last day of vacation, I had a ton of breakouts, but also could attribute that to my period. But the day after we got back, I tested positive!
Looking back, I also slept way more than normal on that vacation -- I only stayed up past 10 p.m. one night at our resort. It wasn't SO out of the ordinary that we thought anything of it, but now that I know I was pregnant, it makes a lot more sense.
