Luckily we live in a small town, and I actually live in town so LO's preschool is only about a 3-4 minute drive because there are a few lights. I'm glad it's close, especially once winter hits!

5 mins drive from our house, but 50 min drive from school to my office in rush hour 
Days I have to drop her off instead of DH (he works from home) I hate life! Today is one of those days! Gets to me to work 90 mins late. Sigh.

Depending on the one traffic light it is usually less than a 5 minute walk. It's actually easier to wallk than drive if the sidewalk is clear.

both are about a 2-3 min drive. One's in our subdivision, and one is right outside it

Currently, one of the daycares is about a 10 minute drive with traffic. The other one is about 5 minutes away. At our new house, the daycare will be 5 minutes away with traffic.

Its about 12 minute drive from home, 5 min drive from work...all assuming no traffic!

20 minute drive from home, but down the street from DH's work and he does all the drop-offs/pick-ups.

15-20 minutes, then 15-20 to work (home-->10-15)
It's a nice drive, and I don't mind it...rarely much traffic (especially in the morning), and lots of trees (really nice this time of year!) Ideally it'd be closer, but the drive could be worse. Before we moved it was 30 minutes, mostly on the interstate, on which we got stuck around once a month due to accidents. It was miserable, and until we moved I never really realized how negatively it impacted my mood, but I was always very tense when we got home.

15-20 minutes, in the opposite direction of our train station. There are closer options but we love this one the most.

We live in the downtown of a big city and I work/DD attends school in a suburb approx 30 mins away. A lot of driving each day but at least we're together!

1 mile away = a 10 minute bus ride in the opposite direction of work. About 35-40 minutes commute to work from her school. We have closer school options (and this is not at all far) but we really liked this preschool.

before we moved, it was 7 minute drive (5 or 6 if we caught the light at the intersection).
Since we moved, we totally lucked out and found an awesome preschool (full time) that is on our street, 5 houses down - 2 minute walk door to door! i love it. it's close, fast, and no bothering with the car seat 
eta. i especially love that i drop him off then go back home to finish getting ready or clean up from breakfast before going to work.

30 min from home, 3 min away from my husband's work. It's not fun on the rare days I do pick-up/drop-off but we just can't find any other good options closer to home.
