How long did it take you to get pregnant once you started actively trying?
Apologies if there is already a post like this, I couldn't find one.

Got pregnant on cycle 3 but miscarried. Then had to wait a month to start trying again. Got pregnant on cycle 3 trying again and stayed pregnant. But all in it took 8 months to get and stay pregnant.
Good luck!

We never officially TTC. I think DH has been trying to get me pregnant for the last 3 months though.
He travels and is home 4.5 days a week so he got lucky this time around!

Currently on the 6th month of actively trying. Haven't been on BC for about a 1.5 years and I'm only 28. I thought it would take us 3 months, well that didn't happen.
Oh, if you want to read older responses, I found these threads. (They didn't show up on HB's search. I used google.)

I had a suspected chemical pregnancy during Cycle 1, a confirmed chemical pregnancy during Cycle 5, and a miscarriage during Cycle 10. I'm almost 25 weeks pregnant now, and got pregnant during Cycle 13.

Second or third cycle; it's sort of weird. I went off the pill and started using a fertility monitor a couple of months later -- I was 35 and figured I needed all the help I could get! The first cycle off was super long and I had no clue when I ovulated, so I'm not sure whether to count it. I then had two more cycles of something like normal length where I was able to figure out when I was ovulating, and I got pregnant on the second of those.

I should probably add that we didn't try during cycles 10 and 11 because that was when my husband had surgery and was recovering.

Two months of accidental NTNT (I came off BC but we were not even close to the required fertile window) and then we got our BFP on our tenth cycle (no known fertility issues, regular cycles with late-ish ovulation).

@FutureMrsMcK: I'm pinching myself too because yes I am! Currently 37 weeks + 4 and basically waiting for labor to start any moment!

We got pregnant the first cycle. We were trying, but were NOT expecting it to happen so fast. I was 29 and had a long cycle, so I thought it would take at least 3 or 4 cycles. Now I tell all my friends not to start until you are REALLY READY because sometimes it happens right away!

We were our first cycle, we didnt' really think it woudl happen since I didn't even know if I was ovulating for sure! I thought we missed it, but decided to still try for the fun of it And sure enough a few weeks later we got a positive test! Glad we decided to do a lot of practicing that month! haha

@Mrs. Bee: any tips/tricks on conceiving a sticky baby on the 1st cycle??
@dc yoga bee: your hubby's too funny!

@Alivoo01: haha well i think why it happened the first cycle was because we weren't really trying. charlie happened (unplanned) in one shot. olive we tried for a week around my ovulation time, but if i didn't get pregnant that month, we would have waiting another 6 months - 1 year. just couldn't find the birth control after we moved, and decided to just try that month for fun.
so i think that's why it happened for us because there was no pressure. the first two times i miscarried, we were really, really trying!

We were NTNT for a couple of months, and then got pregnant on the 3rd cycle of actively trying. I selected the 4-6 range, since we were having unprotected sex for that long before I got pregnant.

I'd been off birth control for a couple months, but we got pregnant the first month that my cycle was "regular" and I was keeping track of when I was supposed to be ovulating. Didn't hurt that we were on vacation at that time too!
