I think my problem was I didn't really labor down then.. I was stuck in bed with IVs and what not so I couldn't really move around.

I never made it to pushing. 57 hours to get to 4cm with a posterior ten pound baby.
Kinda wish I could experience it, but it's not in my cards.

@littlebug: To give you hope, I pushed for 3 hours with LO1 and with LO2 I pushed for 10 minutes.

DS (my only baby)... 20 mins. I labored down a long time waiting for my OB to get to the hospital. It would have been even less time, but I could not get him out because he had his arm up by his head. He was having major decelerations and not tolerating pushing at all, so my OB cut a huge episiotomy and then he finally came out! And when he was born he had that one hand up next to his head... and the other hand was hanging on to the umbilical cord, squeezing away! Possibly the reason for the decels? LOL.
Edited to add: my whole labor start to finish was about 6.5 hours, so a short labor seemed to correlate to a short pushing phase (at least for me).

2:45 for my first, it was the worst. My second fell out pretty much. I remember telling the nurse I though her head was coming out (epidural) and she said there's no way. But sure enough, they couldn't even call everyone else in who needed to be there, nurse/staff wise.

45 minutes. It would have been less but his head got stuck. Had to have an episiotomy in order to get him out.

#1 - 1 1/2-2 hours
#2 - I didn't even push, my body pretty must expelled her out like @anonysquire: said. It was the weirdest feeling, like I couldn't do anything to stop it. My body just took over.

Something like 30 minutes. Entire labor was just over 2 hours. My doula was just pulling into the parking garage when LO was born.

3.5 hours for DD
15 minutes for DS
I find the position of the baby makes a huge difference!

@snowjewelz: Yup! She's attended over fifty births and this was a first.

1.5 hours. After 30 mins they turned the epidural off. Probably would have been much quicker had I actually been able to feel something, anything!

1.5 hours for LO1
Less than 5 minutes for LO2
The second time pushing was a much better experience

4.5 hrs. She eventually had to be vacuumed out.
My friend just had her first and only pushed for 30 min. I was pretty jealous. She said it was because her daughter was small, but my DD was the same exact size!

3 hours with my first. I also pushed for 3 hours with my second only to have the doctor inform me she hadn't moved at all. He said I could try for another hour but he didn't think it would be successful. So we did a C-section. It was brutal.

10-15 min. I felt the urge to push, and literally couldn't do anything but submit to that urge. Baby was in the perfect position, I guess.

About half an hour, at the end of a 23-hr labor. They said I was a "good pusher".

1st- 3 pushes, less than 15 minutes
2nd- 3 pushes, less than 15 minutes
Small babies, 4 and 5 lb babies

About 40 minutes. My midwives let the baby labour down on her own once I was fully dilated, so I think that helped prevent the need for hours of pushing.
