Technically we weren't preventing for 3 years before we got married. But I knew I had fertility problems and it more than likely wouldn't happen on its own. We started fertility treatments a couple months before our one year anniversary.

About 3 1/2 years after marriage! Though we only dated for not quite a year before getting engaged, and married a year later. So we wanted to have fun playing, traveling, and enjoying ourselves.

I was pregnant 3 months after the wedding. We had been together for 5 years. We didn't plan on trying but not actively preventing either.

We got married on September 1st after being together for 9 years and started trying immediately. In fact, we were supposed to get married in April, but had to postpone because I got diagnosed with endo and had to have a laparoscopy asap. It turned out for the better though, because it rained and rained that day in April and on our new wedding date the weather was beyond perfect! We started cycle #3 yesterday, I so hope this will be our month!

We waited a little over year. I would have been fine with waiting a few more years if I weren't already in my 30s.

Wow, so many short timeframes! We've been married a little over 2 years and we will probably begin TTC the spring at the very earliest, so 3 years... but it could be 4-5 years. But we got married young - I was 22.

We started not preventing a few weeks before the wedding (I ovulated just before the wedding so I knew I wouldn't know if I was pregnant or not at the wedding). We got lucky on our second cycle, so sometime on our honeymoon

We stopped preventing about 2 years after the wedding and got lucky fast!

We conceived within days of our 1st anniversary while NTNP, but didn't know it until complications a month later (it was ectopic). We started actively TTC a month after that.

we werent trying but i got pregnant five months after we got married.
People give us crap all the time for not waiting very long, but it seems like a lot of people on here got right to it! People always make comments about how little we waited.

We stopped preventing as soon as we got married. We really started going at it (no charting) after 3 months. Got pregnant after about 4 months.
We've been married 6 months as of yesterday and I go tomorrow to more than likely get D&C.

Our one year anniversary was October 1 and I finished my last pack of BCP on October 6. We are both already 30, though - I think the length of time between marriage and TTC often depends on how old you were when you got married! If we had been younger when we got hitched, I'm sure we would have waited more than a year =)

We we engaged after 6 months - crazy I know! engaged for 15 months and got pregnant 7 months after the wedding. In a perfect world I would have liked to wait longer but DH's age is a factor.
