We are still using one at 17 months but I am wondering if it is worth it to buy the next size up. We are mainly using it to discourage her from trying to climb out of the crib.
When did your LO(s) stop using one?

LO is only 9 months right now, but I plan on using one until he transitions into a big boy bed for the same reason. Is there a reason why you'd want to stop before that? I'll be curious to see what kind of answers you get.

@BadgerMom: The only reason I am wondering is that she sleeps with a blanket at daycare and not the sleepsack. So I wasn't sure if I was keeping her in it longer than I should.

Still going strong at 29 months! We will take him out when he moves to his bigger bed, but he's totally content in it in his crib!

Still using it at 19 months. Our house is drafty in the winter so I kind of want to keep it until after next winter! We'll see.

@catlady: Gotcha. Yeah, we're in the same boat. My LO only uses the sleep sack at home too. I'd just be so scared that removing it would start the dreaded crib climbing and a young transition to a big bed (one of my major, and probably totally irrational fears).

We're still using it at 25 months. We put in on backwards, otherwise she would take her diaper off. And we are not ready for potty training yet.

Only until about 8 months. We forgot to pack them when we traveled to my parents' house for Christmas and she didn't even skip a beat that night, so we figured we just wouldn't use them anymore. Plus in the summer, she sleeps in light jammies or just a t-shirt and her diaper!
I had no idea people used them so long! E is 22 months and it never occurs to me she could be in one!

we stopped around 15 months for the summer because it was blazing. then we restarted around 22 months because it was cold. now at 25 months, she asks for it!

Until just before he turned two. He start sleeping in thick pyjamas only. And now will use a blanket + pillow.

I forget! Probably around 15 months.
It's funny, we have an aden and anais sleep sack everyone just loves. Best baby item ever. Both sets of grandparents think sleep sacks are weird (and that it's practically inhumane we don't let them have blanketsom their crib until they are older.) But the sleep sack will probably be the thing I hold on to and cry into when they go off to college!
Or am I just weird?

Honestly I wish I could sleep in a sleep sack. They look so cozy.

A little over 2 years for LO 1. LO is 22 months and she uses a slerp sack.

we stopped when he was about 10/11 months? In the summer it was too hot, and we just never used it again in the following winter. We didn't have one that fit him and I didn't want to spend the money. He has a warm blanket and fleece jammies and that seems to be fine! His room seems to run hot anyway.

Until just after 2. Only stopped because it was getting close to Summer and LO didn't seem to mind sleeping without one so I didn't bother spending the money. She used it in her big girl bed for a few months before we stopped using it.

@jedeve: ha! Our parents think the same thing about our non blanket use! And Lo is just 4.5 months...

2 years tomorrow and still using them! Will keep using them until transitions to big girl bed.

She hated swaddled, hated sleepsacks and not surprisingly doesn't really like blankets, obviously she needs her space

DS until about 2.5 yo (MIL made hand made ones that were long enough). We stopped in the summer though, and then he switched to a twin bed just after 2.5. DD is still in them at 15 months, and I imagine we will continue to use them while she is in her crib during cold weather.

I don't think beyond 4 months. She never loved them!

We stopped when she turned 8 months, so in the summer....it was too hot and she had out grown it. I thought about putting her back in one for this past winter but I just use a blanket instead...at 18 months she still hasn't tried to climb out (knock on wood!)

@birdofafeather: same! We stopped this summer and restarted this fall when he was 2. Now at 28 months he still wears it.

She's still using one at 2.5 because it's freezing in her room. She has a blanket too!
