Hellobee Boards

Um, that already IS late for work for me. I drop D off around 7:30, and usually stick around for about a minute. He goes over to the window to wave goodbye to me as I walk out of the building.

Whoa! B's school won't even let us walk him in unless we fill out a volunteer form, sign in, and wear a sticker.

DH does dropoff for both kids. He'll stay a while, watch/help LO eat breakfast, chat with other parents and the teachers. They ask for parents to stay around 10 minutes for both dropoff and pickup (though some kids do better with very quick routines; they are ok with that, too). He gets to work around 9:15, lol.

ETA: my kiddos are in daycare, though, not K

I don't stick around, I either have to be in the office by 9 or on a conference call. I think that's pretty disrespectful of people's time.

All the parents stay? @mrbee: I can't imagine how that works with work schedules.

We don't linger, but he used to be totally fine and now he's getting teary eyed at drop off, so we might change our ways.
