I usually try to pump for at least 15 minutes (with a double electric pump). I stay on even after I'm not getting anything in the hope that I will get a second letdown, or to at least stimulate production. I need to increase my supply!

Sometimes at work I have to cut it short, so I might only stay on for 5 or 10 minutes, but I figure that's better than nothing.

ETA: I have pretty fast letdown, so the majority of the time I spend on the pump is post-letdown.

Wow! I only pump for maybe 5 minutes. 10 max? Maybe I should pump for longer...but I always get 4-5 ounces every 3 hours.

I pump for 15 - 20 mins.

I usually pump for 15 min, 20 max to ensure I get the second let down. It's funny how I can feel it so strongly when Olive is nursing, but I can't feel it at all when pumping.
