Just wondering 
I was surprised to see that I went 6h today! I knew i'd be out all day so I pumped both sides dry and made out a 6oz bottle for my son....must of been a good pump session because I didn't get tingly or start throbbing until almost 6.6h later 
If I just feed hi directly from the breast I can only last 3-4 hours until I get way too full & heavy:/

DS is 12 weeks old, and I usually start to get engorged around 3 hours, but it doesn't get super uncomfortable until 5-6. Except at night...I usually wake up uncomfortable after 4-5 hrs, which is about when he wakes up hungry, so I nurse him on one side and pump the other. When I'm painful engorged I can usually pump 6-7 oz.

When I was nursing WJ, it took a good 5-6 months before my engorgement issues were under control. I would be completely uncomfortable, leaking, and in pain within 3 hours. Toward the end (we weaned at 7 months) I was almost never engorged.
This time around, I'm exclusively pumping and lately, I can go up to 6 or even 7 hours before getting uncomfortable. Very little leaking this time around too. LMW is 3 months old.

Around 4 hours before it gets painful. LO is 2 wks old as well. I'm Now pumping every 2-3 hours to try to work through this mastitis, boo

@hilsy85: I heard about your mastitis ..I'm so sorry:( I hope you can get through it or get the antibiotics soon! Those plus your sons procedure & you guys will be smooth sailing!

LO is 3.5 weeks and I start feeling full at around 3 hours. It gets pretty painful at about 5!

I'm still so new at this - LO is only 6 days old - the boobs get painful around 3 hours now -the left one had been getting more hard than the right...
