@MaryM: Absolutely luck!!! We started looking 5 months before we planned on buying, then ended up buying right away the first of 3 houses we looked at. Complete timing, it was an awesome deal!

We have 5, one of which is part of the "casita" behind the garage that we hope to one day have as a guest room. For now it is storage, and the other rooms we use as a study, nursery, dog/cat room, and master.

5 bed 3.5 bath - For the two of us. We had plans to fill it - God laughed!!! In the middle of our first IVF cycle now

3 bed/2 bath, our next will have 4 bedrooms and at least another 1/2 bath.

3 bed 3 bath and are in the process of adding.. Another bathroom. Lol. I know it sounds strange, but we are converting a large subroom into our main living space and adding a mudroom off the side. The bathrooms are all currently really far from where the family room will be, so it made sense to put a bathroom in the mudroom so we don't have to walk to the other side of the house to pee.
If budget allows we'd love to add a second floor master suite making it a 4 bedroom, but of course it would then have 5 baths which sounds crazy to me lol!

Although 5 baths is not so crazy when I think back to when DH's parents were visiting. Our downstairs toilet was on the fritz so thete was a point when we had a wait for a bathroom!

3 beds, 1 bath. We're used to it, though - very typical for an old building in a city neighborhood.

4beds/4baths
Too big for us, I would love 4 beds/2 baths and no basement

3 beds, but we'll probably move next year to a place with 4. I like having one extra room to use as a guest room/office.

@T.H.O.U.: ha! Sure! We just need the $ for the basement!

4 beds, 3.5 bath
But one of the bedrooms is used as a guest room and one of them is an office. So with LO coming in June, we don't have any extra bedrooms and there are only three people living here.

We have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. We've lived here almost a year and it's still a little overwhelming sometimes.

3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms on the main floor. 2 bedrooms one full bathroom in the basement. K

We just bought our first home!
The garage was converted beautifully into a gameroom/huge bedroom with its own bathroom so it's a 4bd/3ba!

We have 4 bedrooms, but one is right off the kitchen so we use it as an office.

5/3...we didn't want (or will we ever need) 5 and would have prefered 4 but most houses here are 3/2 or 5/3. We use the downstairs bedroom as a playroom but I sort of want to knock the wall down so it is more open.

3 bedroom little starter home. Although one is used as a playroom!

4 bed/2.5 bath. I'm good with the amount of baths, but could use another room for an office to get back one of the bedrooms.

2 bed 1 bath apartment. We have lived in the same one for nearly 6 years but are certainly feeling growing pains raising a child there now. Our ideal is a 3 bed 2 bath house

5 bedrooms, 3 baths in a .... not so desirable neighborhood. I love the layout, though because one full bath and bed are downstairs so guests never have to go upstairs.

3 bed, 1.5 bath (Cape Cod with small addition). We have an unfinished basement, so we could do another bath, maybe, but we'd prefer to upgrade in the next few years.

4 bed, 4.5 bath... We have an office on main floor. We plan on building out guest room in basement. I don't like the idea of guests being in the same space as us.. Especially since its MIL We are going to put MIL suite in basement.

We are in a 2 bed 1 bath duplex. Luckily the garage is between us and we only share a small wall in the laundry room. It is small but doable for now. It will be tight with another baby but our rent is so cheap we don't want to move yet.

I voted one bedroom because we live in a 1/1 condo, but we just bought a 4 bedroom/2.5 bath house nearby. It's going to be so different! Our toddler will actually have his own room! Now we just have to see if we can get him to sleep there!
