My contractions never hit 5-1-1 so I laboured at home for what felt like ages before going in. I was pretty sure (and so was the nurse on duty) that I would be sent straight home, but nope...I was 4cm already.

I was induced but I was already 2.5-3 cm at the beginning of the induction.

5 - and I was stuck there!

6-7cm when we got there, my water had broken about 2 hours before and contractions didn't start until we got in the car.

I was 4cm - and I wasn't even in labor yet! ha. I had to go in for an emergency induction, and the doctor was surprised that I was 4cm on my own and didn't even have contractions.
I had been at 3cm for the three previous weeks.

I was only 1 cm but got induced due to GD any way.

1 the first time I went to the birth center. They sent me home, and then I went back the next day and was 7.

My water broke, and when they first tested me I was between 2.5-3. I was at 2.5 three days before that at my doctor's appointment.

When I went in the first time (at 5-1-2) I was still at a "loose 2-3cm" same as I'd been at my last prenatal appointment several days before, and when I got the hospital my contractions had stopped. We were given the option to stay for a few hours to see if they picked up, but I opted to go home. Contractions started again (and much, much worse) before I even got out of the hospital, but by that point I was in denial and sure that it was just more early labor.
After laboring at home for 2 more hours I was in so much pain and so exhausted and still thought it was just early labor, but sure that if it was that there was no way I could handle active labor, or that something was wrong, so we went back. I was at 5cm when officially admitted. When the OB told me I said "So you're not going to send me home again??" and he laughed and said "Nope, you're going to have a baby today!"

3-4 when we got to the hospital (after about 5 hours of pretty constant contractions)

9. I was sure I was at 4, maybe 5.

I was 2-3 when I was admitted. They tried to induce me but L's heart rate couldn't take it. They ended up rupturing my membranes (they missed some?? Not sure how that works). And then I went from 3 to 10 in 30 mins!

Both times 5-6 cm and fully effaced.
The difference was with the first I labored at home 24 hours after contractions started but with the 2nd baby it only took 1 hr after contractions started to get to the same point. -

7 cm. I got to the hospital right at the start of transition.

4cm in triage. When they checked me, I had my bloody show there with contractions. Once we heard that I was 4cm, DH knew that we were staying the night. I think that they broke my water when I was about 7-8 cm. By the early morning, I was 10cm and had him around 8:30am

I think I was at 2 or 3? My water broke first, before I had a single contraction, and I went in almost right away.

2-3cm. I was induced because I was a week overdue and my fluid levels were low.

6 and I was hurtin for certain!
I didn't want to be pushed in the wheel chair so I walked and would just stop and lean against the wall during contractions. It was a long walk. People were asking dh, "is she okay?!" He's calmly like, "she's in labor," as we slooowly made our way across the hospital and through the elevators...

6 and my water had already broken! Baby was born less than 2 hours later!

1cm with DS1 (after hours and hours of labor).
6cm with DS2. -
4 cm. My first (easy) contraction was 21 hours before but they didn't get bad for a long time. I had her less than 4 hours after we got to the hospital.
When they checked me and told me I was staying, I was like, um, yeah, no kidding. You can't get rid of me now!

Not even 1, but my water broke so I had to stay. Luckily I progressed without Pitocin - I've heard that just sucks...

With DS, 7 without having a single contraction.
With DD, 3 without contractions. -
I went in because I thought my water had broken, after they confirmed it did they checked and I was 4cm.

I think i was 4, but it very quickly changed to 5 so I was admitted!

3 - my water broke, so I knew I needed to go in.

I was 4 plus my water had broken so I was admitted. I never quite made it to the 5-1-1. my contractions were about 30 seconds each but only 3-4 minutes apart from the time my water broke.
