I think I took 2 with Charlie and Olive. I think both times I took a test with lines, and then the second test was the one that says pregnant or not pregnant so I could be sure.

I took three. A dollar store test came up so faint that the next day I used a digital and then two days later another dollar store test to experience that joy again. I used up every test in the house and probably would have done more if I didn't feel silly buying tests after two positive betas.

3 - over the course of a day and a half. If I had had more on hand, I certainly would have taken more!

I bought a 3-pack FRER and only used one, but I tested on the cheap Amazon strips pretty much every day until about 7 weeks because I was paranoid about my positive turning negative like it did with my earlier miscarriage. Please do not do what I did...apparently around 6 to 8 weeks, you have so much HCG that the test might not read it properly and could become lighter. Save yourself the freak out!

3. One wondfo that had a super-faint 2nd line, then 2 digitals with the obvious "pregnant."

Erm, a bunch. I started testing early and the lines were really really faint. So I burned through 6 or 7 over the course of a few days as the second line got darker and darker. I also wasted money on a few digitals which never showed up as pregnant for me.

Um, probably as many as all of the rest of you combined...
Only 2 or 3 digital ones, though...however many were in the pack DH brought home. The bulk of them were the super-cheap Amazon ones, though, that I already had from buying the super-cheap OPKs (the pack that was like 40 OPKs + 10 HPTs). And I tested every day for weeks.

six!
got two stripes on OPK strips, so used a digi to get the first official BFP.
Then I bought a 3 pk of blue ept ones, that were really faint, so I went back and got the FRER 3 pak and took 1 to verify.
The other two I ended up using a couple weeks later when I wanted to "make sure I was still pregnant."

Two. I took one on saturday evening and then waited and took one the next morning to be sure

Three! I took one in the morning and was in shock so took one to work. Then at home I had a digital so I took that to show DH when I told him so he could see the actual word.

1 on Friday night and I couldn't even believe it, I took another Saturday AM and sure enough...that was about enough to convince me.

2 cheapies that came up barely positive. Then a FRER and a digital. Then I continued to test with the cheapies to watch the line get darker and darker. Probably 10 altogether.

3 total that were positve....One Frer with a super faint line that freaked me out at 10 dpo. I was sure it was going to be another chemical, so I gave it almost a week to see if it "went away" like the other 2 did. Then I took a CBE digital on 16DPO and immediately got a "Pregnant." So then I took a second one just to get that thrill of the timer thingy turning into "PREGNANT!" That's the most fun feeling;)

I think I took 6-8? The first to were FRER and the line was so faint I didn't think they counted as a positive. Then that same evening, I took a digital and it came up negative. I took the other digital the next morning and got a "pregnant" and then I took a few more FRER in the following days anytime I needed reassurance that it was real.

We took two over the course of two days. The first one had a somewhat faint line and while I had a feeling I was, in fact, pregnant, I didn't believe it until we took a digital on the second night. Seeing the word "Pregnant" show up on that test was amazing! Not that it made the idea any more believable (!), but it was a great feeling!

4... DH only knows about 2 though lol I took two the first day and then I was certain I was imagining things do I took another one right before I called to make my appointment because I wanted to be sure. Then I took one the week of my first appointment, ya know, to make sure lol

all together -- 8? wow.
in one week i took four that were bfn's and then four bfps (3 one day, 1 the following)!
like @leelee i got a faint positive in the morning on a walgreens cheapie, but the same morning the dollar store test was negative! that faint positive was driving me nuts, so i went and bought 3 digitals -- all positive!
i spent a lot of money on tests. haha

I took two, one mid afternoon on a Saturday that had a faint but definite positive and the other on the Monday morning with FMU which was most definitely positive. By the time I tested I was already a day or two late and this was the first cycle in ten where my body had done anything remotely different so I was pretty sure I was pregnant before I even tested.

I took 1. I waited until I was pretty sure I was 2 days late. For some reason it was easier for me to wait to test than to get a BFN. The test I took was not a digital, but it was such a clear positive that I did not need to follow up with a digital test. I did get myself a confirmation blood test at the doctor's office the day after my BFP, just to confirm.

3. A super cheap one, an expensive one with lines, and a digital one. They all said I was pregnant immediately.
