I'm planning to BF and then will be going back to work at 12 weeks and pumping at work. What's a good "wardrobe" of tanks and bras to start with?

I have 4 night time ones and 2 daytime ones. I really need more but I'd buy just a couple to make sure you like them first.

I had 2 to start with but I gradually bought more. I wore a small bra before giving birth but I needed large and extra large after my milk came in.

I have 4 nursing tanks, 3 sleep bras, and 2 regular bras. Since I'm on maternity leave, the tanks get the most use. They're also way more forgiving size wise than the bras.

I have 2 tanks and 4 bras. I don't wear the bras that much because they are like sports bras so they look weird wih normal clothing. I also love wearing yoga tanks from VS...look more normal with regular clothes than the nursing sport bras do.

@ladyfingers: I think they are ! I'm a dd postpartum and like the bravado tanks. I have glamour mom as well but the quality control stinks - three in the same size and they all fit differently!

@ladyfingers: The amount of nursing tank support varies widely by brand and how large your chest is. Bravado tanks are expensive but some of the nest for larger chests. I found that the Gillian & O'Malley ones at Target that everyone raves about are not supportive to wear on their own of you have a large chest.

@ladyfingers: I don't like to wear the nursing tanks alone if I am not going to be at home. Some of them I feel like you can see the lines and cutouts through t shirts. I have some target tanks that I like, but can be not as supportive and I definitely feel like you can see my nipples though them if I just have a t shirt over top (sorry if that's tmi!) I wear glamourmom tanks and really like them support wise, but again you can sometimes see the lines from the 2nd layer of fabric that covers your breast though shirts.
