I have read that breastmilk/formula intake dips as solids increase between 9-12 months.
How old is your older baby and how much do they drink per day?

LO will be 9 months tomorrow and he drinks around 30 ounces.

still haven't seen a dip at 10mos. still drinking 28-32oz/day in addition to 3 solid meals.

My son still takes 25 oz a day plus 3 solid meals and a snack. The past few weeks, he has been eating tons of finger foods so I guess I'm expecting the formula intake to decrease soon...he's 9 months.

9 months as well -- he was previously drinking up to 35 oz a day with just a bit of solids -- lately he is drinking less -- 25-28oz and a bit more solids
he gets four bottles a day and 4 small meals

My daughter is 10 months old. She eats 3 meals a day, 15 ounces of milk during the day plus 3-4 nursing sessions. She has dropped 2 nursing sessions.

DS is almost 12 months old and nurses 4 times a day at home, when I am at work he takes 6 oz bottles, so I am guessing he would drink around 24 oz a day. He just dropped a feeding and he eats 3 big meals a day.

My son is 10 months old and he drinks about 20 oz of milk per day and 3 meals with probably about 4-5 oz of water. About 2 weeks ago he was drinking about 24-26 ounces of milk.

@littlek: Mine has the double chin now. But at 9 months, he's only just over 16 lbs and 27 inches!

At 11 months he is still drinking between 28-32 oz and he gets three solid meals plus a snack. He loves to eat!

My 10.5 month old gets 22 oz if he sleeps through the night or 29 if he wakes to eat. He also eats 3 big meals. His pediatrician wants him down to 15-20 oz/day by his 12 month checkup, but I'm nervous. He really loves his milk.

At 9mo. he drinks 17oz. from bottles plus two nursing sessions and 3 meals of solids a day. He usually needs to be encouraged to finish the last oz of his bottles, so I don't think he'd take any more.
