K eats 6 oz at a time, and she typically gets 6-7 bottles per day. She's a big kid (as you know!). I'd really like to eliminate bottle #7 MOTN!

My LO also would eat as much as you would put in a bottle. She was EBF. At 5 months we topped out at 5 ounce bottles every 3 hours, and then at 6 months when we added solids into her routine we went back to 4 ounce bottles every 3 hours. (This was a day care, at home she typically kept to the every 3 hours schedule but I really just let her nurse whenever she wanted to.)

K eats 4, 4.5 ounces of pumped milk a day and then nursing once before bed and once in the morning.in general she's always able to finish the bottle, although the times we've tried to add a 5th bottle she really isn't interested.
@MamaG: your answer makes me think we're under feeding K, but isn't you K ff?

Ethan takes 5 oz bottles, just 2 right now at daycare, but hopefully working back up to 3? I'm wondering if we need to push the 3rd bottle or let him dictate that.

@Miss Ariel: Yes, she is FF. And yes, I think she eats too much. I don't remember my older taking 7 bottles per day at this age. I believe we were down to 5! Ugh!

When mine was 6 months he was drinking 8oz 4x per day. But he was FF so not sure if that makes a difference.
