DS is super easy to put down. So, anyone.

Well, she's easy so I would guess anyone who she is comfortable with could get her to sleep.

It always makes me laugh when I go to babysit and the parents tell me how hard their child(ten) are to put to bed and then I have zero problems. I just make sure to lay down the law ; )

I think in general kids (esp. older ones) give their parents a harder time than babysitters.

Just either of our parents. But no one local! (Not that we've tried).

Mt dad or inlaws and my bro can put p sown. No one but me or my hubby can put d down. Mostly me though bc.he.nurses. to sleep.

Me, our nanny, and most likely the two grandmas (they haven't in a while, but she adores them like no other). I guess I should also include DH because while he technically can, she hates it and will fight him like a beast. No one else, I don't think! She's picky.

eek I don't know. We can't even rely on anyone to feed our kid which pretty much means we need to be home for bed time anyways. I think my mom could maybe do it. I've actually been thinking about having her try and see how it goes to see if we could possibly get a date night some time.

If we were really desperate, my husband could do it alone, but they would probably just have to cry themselves to sleep. My twins (8 months) are still nursing, but they also take bottles. However, at bedtime they really only want to take a bottle from me. Last week, Alice took a bedtime bottle from DH and nearly fell asleep in his arms. First time that had happened at bedtime since before the 4 month regression!

she's fallen asleep eventually for both my parents and for mil, but there's a lot more screaming and crying involved with them than when dh or i are there.

i bet her daycare teachers could do it--she naps beautifully for them!

probably anyone! she's got a loose routine, but she goes down pretty easily even if the steps aren't followed. we learned that last year when friends didn't put on the white noise, left a light on in her room and the door open with the tv on. and she was OUT! ha.

Pretty much anyone. I made sure early on in LO's life to get her used to having different people put her down besides me (husband, parents, in-laws, babysitter(s)). I also think she loves her routine, so she doesn't mind so much who is keeping the routine, just as long as it's being kept! We are lucky and I am knocking wood right now that our next is similar.

For T....I thought anyone could, but recently a 15 yo babysitter couldn't (though, it was the week after baby brother arrived AND he had a cold). Previously all sitters could and my parents and MIL have done it.

For the baby....just me right now b/c he is 1 month and nurses to sleep.

I know not a soul who could. When it gets dark outside LO wants no one but mama.

DS1 - me or my mom. When others have tried, they hand him off to my mom. Or he finally fell asleep whining/crying from exhaustion. DH could probably do it but it would take FOREVER. He would probably just stick in the car for a ride to knock him out.

DS2 - probably anyone who could hold him, feed him, sing to him or rock him.

DH, my mom, and I are the only ones who have tried... I have no idea how it would go with someone else.

DH, both my parents and my brother did it Friday night but she cried for him and he had to rock her. So mainly DH and my parents.

Quite a few, surprisingly, bc she is a beast to put down for me. It's def true for us that our child is more well behaved and easier to get to sleep for others than us.
