She's only got 1.5 right now at 8.5 months and we're still nursing. She hasn't bitten me yet so we'll see. I hope this second tooth comes through soon though, she wants to comfort nurse all day long right now.

Mine has 12 and we're in our final days at 17 months.

@sarac: ugh I know right! I nipped it in the bud right when he started biting, but then out of nowhere he not me today and it was a reflex but I freaked out and yelled, I scared him and he cried for 5 minutes! I felt badly.

Zero, thankfully! He didn't cut his first tooth until 11 months and I weaned around 8 months. Now with #2... we'll have to see. I'm going to nurse until one. But he's already a biter so if he continues after he gets teeth that's it. It's painful enough w/o teeth!

@Mrs. Pen: Man I hate that. I've never had a bad bite, although I've had a few that weren't fun. Mostly it's when she's falling asleep and my nipple is slowly falling out of her mouth - sometimes she'll bite down on it and nurse like that. THAT sucks, because then I get to choose between dealing with it for the few minutes or waking her up taking my breast out.
