He just started sleeping through the night so it's gone down but he wasn't STTN at 9-10 months so like your LO he was still nursing 4-6x a day. Usually 1-2x a night and 3-4x a day. Sometimes more if he was cranky or needed extra snuggles and comfort.

Does your LO eat much in solids? I've noticed Cobi nursing less now that he eats so much food too.

6+ times a day and night feedings (when she was eating some solids). She still doesn't really care for solids though and now that I've had to cut wheat, eggs, and dairy again she's almost completely ebf (things spread on toast was all she would eat). She's still growing so I'm not worried.

I think she was nursing at least 6-7X a day at that point (with 1 or 2 night feedings). She's a snacker and likes to nurse frequently.

She's 11 months now and nursing about 4-5X a day. We've cut out her night feeding (yay). At least 1 or 2 of the feedings are really short sessions, though - I think it's more for comfort?

@runsyellowlites: have you tried making a gluten free bread, with almond, coconut or quinoa flour and spreading it with mashed berries, pear purée, hummus or something of the like?

@caffeinated: well seeing how Cobi gradually dropped nursing sessions as he started eating more, I would say its pretty easy. He never needed supplementation. It sounds like your LO doesn't necessarily seek out nursing sessions so she might not even notice. One way to do it would be to cut the nursing session in half, say 5 minutes and gradually just cut down on the time. I think I was only very full/engorged when Cobi started STTN for about three days and then my body adjusted to his schedule.

We nurse about 5x a day w one bottle and solids 3x.... I can see why they r growing so big haha. But except for the session early morning, which can last over 15 minutes, they r only on for like 6 minutes. And I'm usually the one just offering....

Usually 4 times during the day and once at night, but some days he will nurse 5 or 6 times during the day.
