Yesterday my ds (almost 5 months old) ate about 50 oz. He normally eats around 30 oz per day.
He didn't spit any of it up, so I really think he was just that hungry. Maybe a growth spurt?
If you bottle fed, did your LO ever eat that much?

I mostly bottle feed my LO breast milk, and I think the highest she's ever gone is maybe 32 oz. Typically she's in the 24-26 oz range. And she's a bigger girl, around 85% for weight I think.

Wow! J is 5 months and drinks between 25-30oz a day.

I think the most my son ever ate was 30oz in a day. But that was probably like 22-24oz of pumped breastmilk and 6-8oz of formula, so I don't know if that matters.
DS has never been a big eater, however.

My 5 month old is in the 25-30oz a day category.... We do almost all breastmilk and one 4-5oz of formula a day.

I am guessing LO eats about 28oz a day (7 feedings, and usually takes a 4oz bottle).

I'm hoping this was just a one time thing. I guess I'll see how much he ate at daycare when I pick him up today!
He's pretty big for his age. At his 4 month appt he was 85% for weight, 95% height, and over 100% head. Lol.

My son eats almost 20 oz in the 9ish hours that he's at daycare. Plus nurses 4 more times per day. I'm curious to see how much he eats in a day when I'm at a conference next week!

My 6 month old (EBF and hates solids, lol) drinks about 13-15 oz in the 9.5 hours I am at work (7:15-4:45). Then we also nurse before work (~6am), when I get home (4:45pm), before bed (6:30ish), and usually 2x overnight. So I'd guess roughly 28-32 oz (some of the overnight nursing is really just a short snack/back to sleep so I don't think he's taking that much). Although who knows!

That seems like a lot to me! The most DS ever ate in a day was about 36 oz.

DD's max was 43 or 44 oz. She averaged ~37 oz a day for a long time though.

i think somewhere around 4-5 months he drank close to that. I remember he was having four 8oz bottles a day for 32oz, but we had a week or so where he had an extra bottle or two of 7-8 oz. so that would be almost 50.

DS ate 35 oz at most. DD is giving us a hard time, on a good day she'll eat 8 oz while I'm at work, but I think she eats a good 20 at the morning and evening and night feeds. I'm so sleepy... I wish she'd stop hating the bottle and eat like your LO!

Emma is turning 4 months tomorrow and drinks about 28 ounces of formula a day (4 ounces at a time). Anything more and she seems too full.
