My son is almost 17 months. How many wake ups are typical for you with you child in this age group? I jut wanna see what's typical.

We have FINALLY passed the point of no return. M started STTN at 17 months and now only seems to wake up in the middle of the night when she's sick.

We're at 16 months and he's very inconsistent. Some nights it's only one, other nights is 3+. So I voted two because that would be an average night for him. We've never had that STTN thing everyone keeps talking about.

T only wakes up when sick. A few times for teeth. Been this way since 9 months and he's 20 months.

B only wakes up if he's sick, but that's been once and he normally falls right back asleep. B has been sleeping 7 - 7 since he was 6 months.

@LulaBee: no you're not! We get plenty of 3+ nights I just like to believe that his true sleep is 2

@pinkcupcake: same.
STTN since 11.5 months. Except for the terrible horrible no good 18-month regression that lasted over a month.
He is 23 months right now. He sleeps 12-13 hours.

At that age. 3.
At 21 months she now has 1-2. She has never STTN.

Almost 18 months and it's a coin flip between waking up once and sleeping for 13-14 hours straight. His one wake-up is usually really short...just give him his pacifier back and turn the turtle light back on.

DS is random. Most nights he sleeps through but every so often he'll wake up. I would guess teething but who knows.
But he does cosleep with me and DH. I shudder to think how many times he would wake up if he slept in his toddler bed. When we try he wakes up every couple of hours.

I voted none, but he does occasionally wake up for a a few minutes with a light cry and goes back to sleep within a few minutes.

No regular wakeups at that age. Only 1-2 times when she was sick and congested.

STTN since 9 months with the occasional wake up if he's sick or teething.

No wake ups (at 16 months) unless he is sick/teething. If he does wake up, he puts himself back to sleep.

Miss A is still waking at night but she does seem to be getting closer to STTN and just recently did a week of sleeping till 5am!
I'm on a couple of AP Facebook groups and I don't think night waking as abnormal for a toddler!

LO is 16 months and only has wakes ups if she's teething or sick. If she's wakes up she puts herself back to sleep, I very rarely have to get up to console her.

DS started sleeping through the night (11-12hrs) just after he turned one.

None-knock on wood, lots of it at 17 months old. He's been sleep trained since he was 6 months old. We've only had random wakeups here and there since then.
Recently, he woke up unhappy because he threw his paci out of the crib an hour earlier than our normal wakeup. I snuggled with him for 10 minutes, then started our day.
Another random wakeup occurred because of poop and something else. DH stayed up with him that night. I went to bed and did the morning routine with him.

None....even if he's sick, he sits up to couch but then rolls over and falls back asleep. He's 15m old.

We're at 14 months and just recently got to no wake up except when sick or teething.

Olive started sleeping through the night at 16 months when we sleep trained. She was doing it for a while at 13 months, but then was sick months 14-15. Once she is down for the night, she usually sleeps through to the morning.
She hasn't been the past couple of nights though because she's been sick and waking up with a fever.

He stopped most night wakings between 16-18 months. He does one every couple weeks, but never consistent. I'm dreading to go back to that again with the new little guy.

We were having one or two usually but this past week I finally let her CIO. I think it was the right decision at the right time. By the fourth day we were at no crying sttn but today will only be night seven so I'm not sure if it will hold up.
