Twice a day. I pump after nursing so I usually get about 3-4 oz each time.

Just stopped my once a day work pump last week!!! Woohoo. Still have my pump at my desk just in case.
(Nursing still morning/evening)

I cut back on pumping so only pump once a day in the early morning with my double electric. I usually get between 12-16 ounces but I got 18.5 today!
@matador84: My supply went down fast when I was pregnant.

I produce about 10-12oz total (that has always been my max). I pump 5x a day, but am about to drop down to 4x once she turns 8 months old this weekend.

I dropped to pumping 2x a day while at work last week (after some good encouragement from the bees!) and I am still making 14-16 oz for now. LO is 8 months old.

@autumnlove: wah i am so sad. after i posted the thread i looked down and i only got 2 oz! 2 on my right and like a few drops off the left.
i really don't want to switch to formula this late in the game and then cow's milk for DS, but i am kind of afraid i'm starving him??

I usually pump 6 times a day and get 17-20 ounces. I have to supplement every other feeding.

I pump twice a day and get maybe 6 oz total (on a good day?). Here's to hoping my freezer stash will get me through to when LO turns one in a few weeks!

Twice a day and I get about 2oz each time...I'm hoping that since I just started this number will go up!

FIVE times a day. Ugh. That gives me JUST enough for her bottles the next day, between 15 to 18 ounces.
hostess / wonderful watermelon / 39513 posts
@matador84: I started supplementing with formula at 10 months and we had no issues!

I just dropped to two times at the beginning of the month and I'm down to 4.5 ounces per session from 6+. It's making me think I'm nearing the end... I'm 9.5 months in and have a freezer stash for 4 more.

3x, 15 oz but I just ordered smaller flanges bc my entire nipple gets sucked into the tube. We will see how it goes.

I pump 4-5+ times a day and get, maybe, 1 - 2 ounces after nursing. So maybe I get 4 - 8 ounces a day?
At least I'm getting something. It is actually better than it was, but this thread is making me feel like a milk cow that should be booted off the farm.
ETA: I praise the Lord I can even make that. So I keep nursing and pumping. Kid will at least get some breastmilk for as long as I can manage. Maybe mine is a concentrate? Lol!

@SleepyMonkey: Nice! That's what I make in 4 sessions. Wish I could do it in 3.
Yesterday was an interesting experiment - I traveled for business (first overnight away from LO), and pumped for an entire day. I got 30.5 oz, which I think is right on target for what LO is supposed to be drinking (though I know pumping isn't a good indication of how much they get directly from the source).

I don't pump daily but met a mama who said she pumps 2x a day but stays at home and throws away the milk bc she gets like 16 oz a session and can't store it all! ACK!!! I told her about Human Milk for Human Babies so I hope she donates it!!

@Beehive: 30.5 oz in a day! thats awesome! and kind of amazing how your body just knows the right amount to produce for J how was it being away from him? i still haven't done that yet...kind of dreading it and looking fwd to it at the same time.
grapefruit / 4006 posts
@Espion: 1-2 oz after pumping is good! i don't often pump after LO nurses anymore, but the few times that i did, it was about 1-2 oz. do not worry!

@matador84: im not pumping anymore, but I think our los are the same age. Im not going to supplement with formula this late. When my freezer stash gets low (maybe a week or two from now?) Im going to introduce whole milk and mix with the frozen until it's gone. I'll still nurse morning and night.
honeydew / 7811 posts
@matador84: 3 times a day on work days and I usually get 9 oz, sometimes just 8. Today- 12! Once on the weekends and ill get anywhere from 1.5 - 4 oz depending on time of day, how we'll I slept, etc.

@yellowbird: yes i think so. i saw some whole milk at the store the other day and totally just eyeballed it for like a minute! it's so tempting to try and start DS on it at 11 months. i have no freezer stash at all and my supply is totally dwindling. i would nurse at night/morning but supplement with milk if i could during the day. scared to try it...but i feel desperate!
honeydew / 7303 posts
@matador84: I know several people who have switched at 11 months. Maybe ask your ped if it would make you more comfortable, but I see no problem doing that!

@dagret: mine does too but it was worse with the smaller ones

@yellowbird: i thought about asking her, but she is pretty traditional and knowing her, i think she would freak! as much as i love her.
i really think i'm going to start this week with him slowly introducing it. i guess i'm just afraid it will end badly!
honeydew / 7303 posts
@matador84: I know how you feel. Im scared too, but I dont even know why! I think it will be fine for both of us!
nectarine / 2054 posts
@SleepyMonkey: It was better than I expected! I thought I'd be sad, but it was fine. J did really well too and didn't give DH too much trouble. Though I'm very glad to be back and not have to pump for every feeding... moms who EP are amazing!

DS is 10.5 months and I am currently pumping a total of 9-10oz from 3 sessions (including a power pumping session). I was pumping around 12oz (exactly what DS was drinking) before taking a two week vacation on which I only nursed; I'm trying to get my pumping output back up but may just resolve to use my freezer stash to help compensate what I am no longer pumping. Like the others I really don't want to start formula this late in the game if I can help it so might end up introducing cow's milk a little early if my output goes down anymore.
