@shopaholic: When LO was a week old we were busy all day seeing specialists, so I had to hand express in the car on the way to the hospital. I got 3.5 oz. in 20-25 min, but it was hard work.

I collect more from hand expressing. I have only pumped for DD once, during her 7 months. The other day I felt a little full after only a short feed so I hand expressed and got about 2oz or so.

Considering I never ever pump And my supply has regulated to DDs needs for a long time I was happy.

Not that I will ever use those 2 oz though!

I've never taken the time to really try, but these days I doubt I would get enough to cover the bottom of a bottle.

I gotta figure out how to hand express! This is impressive!

I can't really hand express to "save" anymore (never that full these days) and it makes more of a mess than anything else! Last time I hand expressed though I think I got about 3-4 oz? I was really trying to get as empty as I could without my pump though!

I never really got the hang of hand expressing and only did it when I had terrible clogged ducts. I was only able to do it with one boob and not the other, and I wasn't able to get much (maybe half an oz).

I've never been able to do it. I remember the nurses trying to teach me how in the hospital and I just couldn't do it. I've never had a really fast flow, though, so it takes a lot to get it out.
