And how quickly did it happen? DD2 will be 1 in two weeks and I plan to wean right after that. I can't remember how much they deflated after weaning DD1 (maybe a cup size?) but I'm trying to buy some bathing suits for our cruise coming up and I'm worried I need to go a size down in the top so I can still fill it out.

I didn't go down a size so much as they just looked big and sad and deflated. Very fried egg on a doornail. Thankfully they plumped back up after a few months.

So much. But i agree with @sarac:, its not that they are really much smaller, its the deflated droopiness that makes them look smaller. LO hasnt breastfed in 11 months and I'm still a little sad about the state of my boobs. I was a big C when breastfeeding (I had a smaller chest to start) and now I'm a B.

Mine didn't change too much and I BF for over a year both times. I would say I went from a very full C to a normal C. At least, that's where I am now and I fully weaned about 2 weeks ago.

I still wore my pre-BF size once all the milk went away, but they looked so terrible and sad for a couple of months before plumping back up. Just so....empty. It was my first and I didn't know they would completely recover and go back to 100% looking normal and they were sad enough looking that I was pretty sure I would end up with a boob job in the near future. It was only for a couple of months though for sure or else I would have been on a surgeon's table lol.

I dropped almost 2 cup sizes once my body got the message to quit producing milk. Definitely much, much softer. Took about a month for my boobs to shrink, but it happened like within a week once it did.

Hard to say because I got pregnant before I weaned #1, miscarried, then got pregnant a couple of months later with #2. I'm EBF #2 as we speak, and am very nervous of how they will look when I'm done!

Mine didn't go down in size, but definitely were droopy and lifeless.
They didn't perk back up until I started BFing #2 and they will probably be even droopier once I wean from this one. Boo.

Mine didn't go down in size necessarily, but got very flat on top. I found that I needed a new style of bra--a balconette style or half cup, I think it was called?...demi maybe?...--to give them a good shape in a shirt again. My old bras just...weren't being filled out anymore,

They didn't change sizes but they definitely deflated... I didn't lose as much of the perk as I was anticipating, but I imagine it will be worse this next time around. I did lose some weight after weaning too that added to the overall sad state of my boobs.

Mine were always pretty flat on top, but I'm scared to see what they look like once I wean.

Hmmm... I'd say I'm about the same. Stopped at 8 months (took one month to wean) with my first; and 14 months with my second (took 2 months to wean). I found that slowly weaning was the best and didn't affect my size as much as with my first?

The cruise is only 2 months away so now I'm really scared of how they'll look in a bikini top. HAHA@erwoo: How slow did you wean? I think it took about 2 weeks for my first, but I was thinking a month for this one.

Sad sad member of the itty bitty titty committee. I still fit in my old bras, but I did start buying push ups because they add a little shape to my boobs.

@BabyBoecksMom: definitely get some type of push-up top!!! I have always worn VS Very Sexy bras and my deflated boobs looked okay in those. I think they make them as bikini tops...

@BabyBoecksMom: Two months with my second. At the 12th month mark I started cutting out one session one week at a time. When I got to nursing twice a day I did that for a few weeks and then went to once a day for another week or so until my son decided he was done. I may have gone a little over 14 months. My supply was probably dwindling by then anyway and he was just way too active by then. He went from nursing 10 mins on each side to 5 minutes total! That's when I knew.

NONE and I'm so mad!!!! Mine went ginormo and I am desperate for them to deflate. But they didn't. At all.

Mine totally bounced back! And they still looked good in a bra or a bikini, generally. They were just kind of bummed out for a while au natural. But as my husband said - 'they're still boobs'.

I was pretty flat to begin with and now that it's been 2 months or so since I weaned, I'm concave...Think, 12 yo boy.
