I want to hear what is the "norm" of how well your toddlers eat! Tell me how old your child is and how much does he / she eat on a typical day and/or how much does he/she NOT eat on a day that he/she doesn't eat. And are you worried about his appetite at all?

My son who just turned 3 literally ate nothing today. He ate quite a bit of french toast for breakfast this morning. Then before lunch his dad took him to get a small ice-cream as I was taking too long for eye exam (how brilliant). Of course he didn't want to eat lunch at all. Then he ate a small snack with 3 crackers at 3pm, and again ate only a few bites at dinner. He seldom complains about being hungry. Somehow I wonder how he survives.

On normal weekdays he eats better than that, with hits and misses in the evening. He can finish a plate of food plus fruits in the evening if it were a good day.
