I'm starting the switch next month to WCM. I am curious how many gallons or half gallons you went through a week starting out? We do a monthly budget and trying to anticipate the cost.

1 gallon usually lasts us 2 weeks (but she's in daycare and they provide the milk while she's there).

Xander's on hemp milk, so I provide it to the daycare. He goes through a gallon (sometimes a little more) each week.

We are about a gallon-ish a week. I'm too lazy to math but 16 ounces a day!

@reverie: haha, I had to google how many ounces were in a gallon, because we really go through 4-5 containers of hemp milk and each one is 32 oz, so I wasn't really sure how much that was, gallon-wise!

I don't keep track of LO's ounces (and we drink a little bit too) but we go through about a gallon a week. If we run out the day before grocery day we just do water until we get groceries (any longer and I would probaby make a special trip to the store, but it hasn't ever happened). I don't worry too much about how much WCM he gets.

I haven't figured out how much a week, but I bought two gallons two weeks ago and we have about 3/4 of a gallon left. We were out of town yesterday and she goes to a sitter during the week and she provides it there. She drinks three sippies of milk daily.

We use one gallon (4L in Canada) a week. She takes about 16oz a day, which I think is a bit low, but she's just not a huge fan of it and gets plenty of dairy elsewhere. Since neither me or DH drink much milk, we use her whole milk for all our general milk needs as well. So it's really not that much.

We go through 6L a week. DH and I use LOs milk too. She drinks about 18 oz a day at 22 months. She'd drink a lot more if I offered it to her, but she'd also replace meals with milk so I monitor her intake.
