I pump 3 times a day (9 am, noon and 3 pm). I get a total 18 ozs a day.

While at work I usually pump 2 or 3 times a day depending on the day (whether or not we've done a morning nursing session, etc). In the morning, if it's been around 4-5 hours since nursing, I usually get around 8 oz total. Otherwise I usually get right around 5 oz per session (exactly the size of the bottles she drinks). I think I'm pretty good at emptying myself!!

LO is 4.5mo, I pump once a day (before bed), on a good day get 5oz but usually 4oz. I'm SAH so I only pump for before bed bottles and a small frozen stash.

I pump 5 times a day. Once before work, I get 4-6oz, three times at work, I get about 4-5oz each time, and once before bed, get about 2-4oz. I leave before E gets up in the morning so he eats four 5oz bottles each day and then nurses before bed and in the middle of the night. I need to pump that much just to meet his demands for the next day.

I just stopped pumping at 12 months! I got down to one pump at work at around 11 mo(about 4 oz), and I would pump once before bedtime (3 oz) to make up the extra bottle of the 2 that LO needed at day care. I also started dipping into my frozen stash at that point. I got rid of the night pump at 11.5 mo and stopped pumping at work right at 12 mo. Now that LO is on whole milk, I just nurse once at bedtime and once in the morning. That's mainly for me, since he could probably care less

LO is 5 months old and I pump twice a day. Just before I leave for work and as soon as i get back from work. I get about 7-8oz in the morning because I have just fed her and then about 10oz in the evening. I am not empty after pumping in the evening because I then go on to breastfeed her.

@cranberryapple: I work during the week so I have to pump while I'm at work. When I'm home, I breastfeed. So, I don't need to pump on the weekend unless I'm sore.

Currently pump twice... Around 8 and 11 or so pm... Rest breastfeed. Kids r almost 6 mos. depending... Get about 12 ounces total if kids have eaten... If its been awhile since they ate, could get bout 20oz...

I only pump once, right after I wake up (for his middle of the night bottle). I get around 7oz from one side and just take enough out of the other side to soften it enough for him to latch.

I don't like pumping. But I like middle of the night nursing even less

I pump 3 times a day. I get 20-25oz in the morning, 18oz in the evening, and 20-22oz before I go to bed at night.
My baby is 10 weeks old, and I've been exclusively pumping since he was 2 weeks old.

I pump twice a day. LO is 11 weeks old. I get about 8-10 oz. in the morning (around 8am) and then about 6-8 oz. at night (around 10pm).

I just started going back to work today, so we'll see how much I get when I have to go into the office, too.

I pump 5-6 times a day and I get between 6 and 10 oz per session, depending on how long it's been since I last pumped. Sometimes I pump after 4 hours, sometimes I wait up to 7 hours. So about 45 oz per day, probably? I've been exclusively pumping lately because I'm afraid I have a yeasty rash so I don't want to give LMW thrush.

I'm weaning from the pump because my son has MSPI - previously I exclusively pumped for about 3 months. I would get about 20 oz in the morning, pumped mid day and got about 14 oz and then before bed I pumped about 10 oz.

Gosh! How do you all pump so much more than me? LO is 10 weeks and I started back to work 2 weeks ago. I pump 3x at work and get 3-4 oz./ session, if that! I pump at least once more at night but don't get much at all. He is taking 15-20 oz while I am gone so I am not keeping up and have to pump a lot on weekends to play catch up. Anyone experience this that got their supply up? Suggestions? I eat lots of high protein snacks throughout the day (nuts, hummus, greek yogurt, eggs) but am avoiding unhealthy fatty foods and sugar. I try to get a lot of water, but admit I forget to drink enough at times

@Amelieisme: 20 ounces in a day sounds like a lot for a ten week old. Are they maybe over feeding? 15 ounces sounds much more reasonable.

I did find that once I got used to pumping I was more efficient at it. Keep up the good work. Also I would suggest putting your extra pumping in the morning if you can. You produce more milk earlier on in the day

@Amelieisme: my little one started daycare at 12 weeks old. She was there for about ten hours per day. I was sending four bottles of 4 ounces each for the first 3 months. We eventually went to three bottles of five ounces when she could go more like three hours between feedings. Read up in Kelly mom about tips to share with daycares about how to bottle feed a breastfed baby. It is different then how you would feed a formula baby.

Wow...I'm only 2 weeks in...EPing (my son is in the NICU) and I'm up to 21 ounces a day (7-8 pumps). I'm so worried about not having a good supply since my sister struggles. I just can't wait until I know that I have enough. (And when I can pump less often!)
