I'm just wondering if my little guy is typical. What are the eating habits of your EBF 4 month old? Day vs night?

My 4 month old was breastfeeding 5-6 times during the day (every 2-3/3.5 hours) and once at night.

When my LO was 4 months he ate about every 2-3 hours during the day (still does at 10 months!). At night (after the 4 month sleep regression) we were lucky to get a 4 hour stretch. It was brutal. He was never a good sleeper. Now he can go a lot longer since we've done some sleep training.

He would eat every 2 hours and sleep about 10 hours at night, it i am remembering correctly.

He eats 6 times during the day, which is about 3ish hours apart (longer stretches during the day, shorter stretches towards bedtime). He was down to 1-2 night feedings, but now he's going through the 4mo sleep regression and I'm sometimes comfort-nursing him back to sleep (because it's not really due to hunger....).

My daughter was a snacker at that age. During the day, about every two hours, she'd nurse, and then nurse again a half hour later. She was sleeping through the night most nights and nursing once on occasion.

With my son, it was like 8-10 times a day, with 3-4 of those overnight. My daughter is just 4 months old now and does 6-8 sessions a day (anywhere from 2-5 hours apart during the day) and 1 night nursing session.

I think mine nurses a little more often than usual- day time she will still nurse every 1.5-2 hours if she's awake (but if she happens to be napping will go longer). More frequent before bedtime, less when out and about. As of now seems to be getting back to one feeding at night- she had been eating once or not at all overnight then sleep regression.

He eats about every three hours. But at night he does one eight hour stretch and then three hours after that
Eta: He eats a total of 7 times per day.

At that age both mine were nursing every 2-ish hours during the day and once or twice overnight. I believe LLL recommends 6-10 sessions in 24 hours at that age.

When my son was 4 months he was nursing about every 3 hours during the day and every 90 minutes at night. The sleep regression hit us HARD and he didn't know how to put himself to sleep without nursing. We had to hire a sleep doula to help us because I was going crazy.

Every 2 hours during the day and a few times overnight. He wouldn't go to every 3 hours until probably 7-8 months?
