My friend who hates germs replaces her bottle brush every month! I recently replaced ours after 16 months...it was still in decent condition and we put it in the dishwasher once a week! I bought a new one because I lost the little nipple cleaner attachment for our old brush.

We replace them when they start falling apart. I just replaced ours today. We're on #4 in 14 months.

I replace the bottle brush and dish sponge every other month. I don't use the dishwasher very much so they wear out quick. I'm kinda germophobe as well
