Your child has a sippy or straw cup of water only. How often do you wash it?

We do it every few days. Usually he has a few sips and it goes back in the fridge.

I aim for every other day, with it in the fridge in between. But more if she drinks from it while she's eating and gets food backwash, etc. Or less when I forget or am lazy...

Somewhere between every few days and never. Not as often as I should, I know.

At the end of the day, but we just put them in the dishwasher (we have one that needs to be washed by hand and it's a giant pain).

@erinbaderin: haha, us too! My daughter takes her cup to bed so that makes it even more difficult to remember to clean it.

I tried to do it at the end of every day but sometimes every two days. Now he only uses it at night so probably every two days when I fill it up again

Usually at the end of each day or meal just b/c she either back washes or the cup gets all greasy.

Normally when she uses it after a messy meal and gets food all over it. Other than that maybe every other day or so?

I throw the straw cups (thermos) in the dishwasher every few days, otherwise they grow mold.

Every few days unless it is grimy then it gets washed when it needs it.

Daily, sometimes more than once a day, if we're home. They get slimy.

We have enough cups to wash one at the end of each day... but the babysitters like to try out different cups throughout the day, so.... there's a rotation of about 3 that stay in the fridge and I don't know what gets used. We don't have a system! Maybe we will simply to one cup per day after xmas.

Every day here too. Our own glasses get used for the day and go in the dishwasher. So do the boys' cups...especially the ones with milk.

For DS1 - at the end of the day. Except the water cup he keeps in bed, which we wash every few days.
For DS2 - He generally has 1 cup he uses throughout the morning, then another cup in the afternoon. He is constantly drinking (and eating), and it gets grimy throughout the day.

when DD would take a water cup to daycare we would wash it every night. But when she is home and doesnt go out then its every few days since she sips out of it and puts it right back in the fridge

I put a CamelBak in the diaper bag for DD and I to share when we are out and about that I wash every couple days. The cups she uses at meals get super grubby so those get washed every day even if she just has water with her meal (and sometimes she uses three separate cups for water with her meals.... I guess her hands are just extra sticky).

I usually do the end of each day, especially now in cold season. But if everyone is healthy I will keep a water cup in the fridge overnight and reuse one more day.

His water cup, I'm supposed to wash it Maybe every week, but mostly it just gets refilled. Heck, it never even goes in the fridge. He drinks his water room temp mostly.
