I was 23, almost 24. Looking back, we were very young. My hubby even had to pay extra for the car rental on our honeymoon since he wasn't 25 yet.

20. I always thought I'd get married young-ish, but looking back, 20 seems very young.

I was 23. Honestly, we would have waited but we had to because of the military.

I was 18, I never really had any expectations of when I would get married, sure it was a bit young but it works for us

I was 31 - I always said I never wanted to get married before 30 and that is exactly what I did!

24. I always planned on doing it around 25, so the timing worked out nicely. It leaves me finishing off our family at 30, which is what I had hoped for.

19! We were high school sweethearts I didn't really think about it seeming younger than I expected for myself... I knew I was young but it was right for us! We will be married for 7 years in December!

27, but 1 month shy of 28. When I was in college I hoped to be married by 24 and have kids by 27, but instead I was married at 27 and will have my first child just weeks after turning 31! But it all worked out for the best. I'm much more independent now than I would have been if I had gotten married earlier! And I learned a lot of great lessons.

I didn't think I'd get married until 30 either, but I was 25. So much for that, lol.

28. To be honest, I never really thought about when I'd get married. It wasn't a priority to me. I'm in my 30s and most of my friends aren't married or were only recently married.

31 (one month before 32nd birthday). While I didn't have a specific time frame, it felt right to me. Many of my friends had not gotten married yet, so I was in the middle of the pack.

Got married at 27. Probably thought I would be 26 (imagined starting a family by 28), but not too far off!

23 - earlier than I expected, and also the first of my friends to get married.

30, and I was the first of all my friends. I felt ancient though, because my 20-year-old sister got married two months later.

27. I don't really recall having specific ideas about what age I'd get married, it never seemed like a necessary part of my future. But I guess if I'd had to guess an age, it would have been about 27.

I was 23, but we had already been dating for 5+ years so it seemed like the next logical step for us! I don't really think I had many expectations about what age I'd get married at but I did feel ready & pretty impatient for my age I think.

27, later than I thought. Especially since I'd been with DH since I was a month into 19!

I had just turned 30 the week before we got married. I think I always assumed I would get married younger, especially since I was briefly engaged when I was 26.

We were 34 and 36, which was definitely older than I expected.
For my first marriage, I was 22, which was younger than I thought I would be.
