5 years 10 mos. LO has an October birthday, with an August cut off for our district.

DS was born between the school cutoff and when school usually starts, so he's supposed to start just after he turns six.

My son was just over 5y9m, but he made the cut off by 2 days (they start later here compared to the US). If he had gone to the public school he would have had to wait another year.
My daughter will be 5y8m.

DD turns 4 a few weeks before starting JK in the fall.

DS will be 2 weeks from turning 6. I could probably fight to get him into the next grade, but I have no problem with this, I have a Fall bday too, and I liked being on the older side.
Of course, this means I have to pay for an extra year of preschool!

Our state has 2 cutoffs and we will be moving between now and then. She is born in the middle of the cutoffs so either 4y11m or 5y11m

DD will be 4y11m (Georgia's cut-off is 5 by Sept 1). It seems so young compared to those of you saying your kids will be almost 6!
