I thought I would try an opk, and it was negative. Is it possible if I ovulated today that an opk would show negative? I just hope I am close to o'ing... getting discouraged.

I think that it’s possibly for you to have O’d today and gotten a negative OPK today. To the best of my knowledge an OPK becomes positive when your LH is surging, usually 12-36 hours prior to O. I always got a positive the day before ovulation and a negative on O day. Good luck!

@sslm: I’ll be stalking your chart for a rise! If it doesn’t go up tomorrow though don’t lose hope! I didn’t O until CD27 on the cycle that I got pregnant this time around. I know that the wait is brutal!
