I had a few leaks early on, so I tighten them up a lot! Mrs. Bee is not a fan... she says I tighten them too much and that it's hard to get the tops off of the bottles I've tightened. She has a point, but I always forget to tighten it a little less. I'm just so worried about leaks!
How tightly do you tighten your baby's milk bottles?

Our gerber bottles actually leaked if you put them on too tight! Sounds odd, but it needed a bit of air escape!

I hate it when DH tightens her bottles so much. We use Comotomo and they're silicone all over so the whole thing just twists up when I try to open them. I also noticed that with our bottles, once you tighten them too much, I think the part around the rim contorts and the seal isn't the same without continuing to tighten them

I think the instructions that came with my Born Free bottles said not to tighten it too tight or else it would interfere with the whole vent system, so we always just make it tight enough.

I usually do it pretty tightly but lately they've been popping off when you tighten it all the way! I think my medela bottles are getting a little too old...!!!

Not tight, no leaks either. We use drop-ins so I don't think it really matters.

Tight! Dh usually has to open them & always ask me why I keep tightening it if I can't open it later;)
