I know I'm spoiled. My best friend gave me her hospital grade pump. She bought it years ago, and she is done with pumping. That is the pump I have used since the day I came home from the hospital. It is still not as good as my child at removing milk from my breast, but it's acceptable.

A month ago, I went back to work. So, I got a Medela pump through my insurance company. I keep the hospital grade pump at the office and use the insurance pump at home in a pinch.

IT DOESN'T WORK. I am sitting here hand expressing milk out of an engorged breast because after ten minutes I got half an ounce of fore milk and my breast is still rock hard. WTF???
