I had it when LO was six weeks. It is awful. I feel your pain.
Good news is I started to feel better the day after starting antibiotics.

Ugh, big hugs. One of the worst feelings ever! I felt better the second day, never had to start meds either time, just lots of pumping, nursing, hot compresses, hot showers, and rest.

Ugh so sorry!! I had it at 6 weeks too. Totally sucks
antibiotics help, eat yogurt & take probiotics if possible to avoid thrush!

Boo! The good news is you should feel a million times better about 24 hours after you start meds. Mastitis sucks!

When i got clogged ducts i would always threaten DH with, "you better hope it's not mastitis!"
