I swear I have been through every brand of straw cup there is for my two kids. They either end up cracking around the rim somehow and getting water inside (I hand wash their cups), they leak way too much or they are a pain to take apart/put together before and after washing. Please tell me what straw cup you use that you LOVE, I'm willing to pay for a cup that works.

My DD's favorite is the Munchkin click lock one, but I hate cleaning it. She actually uses it instead of throwing it, though, so I just deal with it and curse every time I have to wash it.

I'm also a fan of the stainless steel Foogo thermos. Keeps it cold for an extended amount of time and is pretty good about keeping spills in. They're also easy to clean.

I love the Foogo also, but I just got LO a Contigo one that is just like mine, and he seems to like it! @Mrs. Lion: We have the same! 2 plastic and 2 stainless steel.
The stainless steel ones work as well as Foogo keep cold but don't leak.

Same set up as @Mrs. Lion: we have a thermos foogo stainless steel cup that I use for milk on the go- so far it has yet to leak in a bag, though it will drip when c turns it upside down. And for water we use a contigo bottle. She loved using mine so I got her the kids one. She still prefers mine but drinks well from either and they haven't leaked, even when I throw it in my bag. It can go in the dishwasher too.
Both are a little annoying to hand wash but not horrible.
For milk at home I usually just use take and toss cups and snap the kids on really tight. But every once in a while she tosses it and the whole cup spills... So that's fun.

) That's the worst!! But I will take the occasional spilled cup over having to deal with cleaning valves. They totally gross me out, especially with plastic...it's like they never really get clean.

@Foodnerd81: @Mrs. Lion: I can't fathom why they're called take and toss if tossing always pops the lid off...I thought it was just me! Thankfully LO rarely uses them and doesn't drink milk so it's usually just water all over my floor.

@Mrs. Sunshine: I thought the "toss" meant that they're disposable so you can just toss it in the trash/recycle bin once you're done with it?

@PurplePeony: @Mrs. Sunshine: yeah I think toss means they are cheap enough that if the get lost or super gross you can toss them. Definitely not good for actually getting thrown.

I found the holy grail of straw cups - Vital Baby ! They don't leak , are super durable, and CHEAP !

I know that others aren't a fan but I've never had a leak with the Nuby straw cups.
