Awwwwh, I did that once and I had to hold the flanges and I couldn't multitask on HB or gossip sites!
I hope you didn't ruin a fancy bra!

@PrettyLizy: I spent the first 5 minutes in denial! Then I grabbed the scissors. I love how McGuyver always used bubblegum and the gum's tin foil wrapper as part of his solutions.
@AutumnLove: It was a sort of fancy VS (black lacey) bra. *sigh* Not like Valentine's sexy, but definitely sexier than my regular nude bra! It would have taken too long to run to the store and back. : /

Next time, try folding the top of the cup over into the bra. I've done that to hold my flanges in place. It's not ideal, but it should give you a decent pumping session. I have 3 sports bras that I have cuts in to use for pumping at home. The 3 are cheaper than 1 pumping bra.

@MaisyMay: Good to know! I don't have too many bras in my current rotation (still too big for pp bras), so I need to save as many as I can!

@MsLipGloss: I bought 3 cheap sports bras at Ross for about $5 each. One of them I cut straight up the front and put on 2 clasps so that I could put it over something else if needed. Sports bras are great because they are stretchy and hold the flanges tight to you.

Oh no! Do you how to just hold them? I use my forearm to hold one while my hand holds the other. Then you still have a free hand.
