@coopsmama: in my experience, most people don't know that sleeping beauty's name is Aurora.

@coopsmama: yep, though the way Liv says it is my favorite... RorEEE!
Sleeping beauty was a big hang up for me in picking it, but no one has said anything. Except L, who hadn't even seen sleeping beauty but called Rory "our sleeping beauty baby" the day we came home and now I'm totally cool with it.

I really like Sloane with C&M. It was the first name that popped into my head for you.

@oliviaoblivia: Be still my heart, that is so cute that she said that. That would make me okay with it, too. Oh, your daughters are SO sweet and make me want another one so M can have a sister! I do like Sloane with our sibling set. I don't think DH loves it, though. He likes the "o" sound at the the end of M's name and how it softens it up. I think he thinks Sloane is a little bit masculine. I don't see it at all. He likes girlier names. He suggested Mirabelle last time. And Daphne.
@magnolia: I'm going to read each and every suggestion to DH after the kids are down tonight so we can start making a list!

@coopsmama: we have a Cooper in LO's daycare class and his sister is Shelby. I always thought the names went together well. She is adorable too!

So many good suggestions! One that has really grown on me from a little girl we know is Laurel.

@MamaCate: @runnerd: Unfortunately both of those names have bad associations for me from girls I know in HS which is so silly. I hate when that happens. I'll ponder them more though!

Our girl name contenders (if we ever need them) are: Ruby, Eliza, Amelie, Sloane, Eva, Annabel, Clementine, Lola, Eden, and Lila.
Names that are similar to DS/DDs that I think are cute: Arden, Greer, Bronwyn, Alexa, Layla, Noa, Parker, Piper, Reese, Sawyer

@Ra: Dang! You have good taste, lady! All but three of those names are ones I have considered at some point during these baby making years...I need to revisit! Especially like the Greer mention - such a classic name no one uses!

@coopsmama: Quinn!!! I heard if recently, but they had a boy and couldn't use. We are done or I would so steal it for a girl lol. And now I'm curious what your boy names are!
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@coopsmama: You've got so many good suggestions here. DH vetoed Aurora because he felt like it was just a bunch of mumbles put together. When I suggested Campbell, he totally laughed and said Like the Soup! We've got a long way to go! I still like Quinn too but thats also off the list for him

Bumping this because we found out baby is indeed a girl! Any and all ideas welcome we're still debating!
hostess / papaya / 10540 posts
@coopsmama: I still vote Quinn lol. Any of the boy names you were thinking of gender neutral enough that you can still use?
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
@Mrs. Champagne: I just heard this at daycare and thought how cute it was! I have a bad connection with the name

@2PeasinaPod: DD is Claire! And Lillian (Lilly) was in our top 3!
Also, friend's kiddos' names I've liked: Amelia, Cora, Alice, Lucy, Caroline, and Addy.

@Boogs: I still like Quinn, too, it's just not jumping out to me as the one but that could change. At the ultrasound today I was really struggling and knew while looking at her that naming would not come easily this this time! Usually at the ultrasound something just stands out but nothing did this time! Eeek. Now I feel lucky naming our first two was so painless.
@AprilFool: I love Greer but couldn't use it because of our last name - it becomes too mushy.
@Mrs. Champagne: Sutton is such a boy name to me but I will ponder it.
@Miss Sarah: I like Adelaide but it's a departure from my usual tastes. Addy made me think of it.
I do think Willa is a front runner right now because it's the only name DH has suggested this go around and it's also a name of an author and our other two have author inspired last name type names - DH is the English need. I like it but am not entirely sold. Pondering!

Here are some names I can see with your other LOs:
Julia, Teagan, Elise, Ayla, Rose, Sydney, Hazel

@oliviaoblivia: I know! Seeing your girls together makes me so excited to see mine together. And I just may have a bit of your crazy because even as I still battle nauseous moments and am over all achey and tired, immediately after the ultrasound I said "maybe baby 4 will be a boy!" to DH. He just looked at me like I'm the craziest woman in the world and said "I KNEW you'd never be done with 3!"

I know a mama with a DD named Bowen, which I love. It would sound great with your first two!

@coopsmama: The second boy name was so hard for us, we were still debating in the hospital. I hope something comes to you sooner than that!

Brenna, Briana/Claire (two of my fave characters from Outlander), Eliana

Our dd is Rosalie, and others high on the list for (maybe) next time are: Kata, Juliana.
Aurora/rory is a huge favourite for me too... Dh says no though, and my Chinese fam would have trouble pronouncing it hehe:)
Congrats on #3! Our 3rd has been the easiest by far so far:).

If Quinn's not quite right, what about Brynn? It's more clearly feminine so maybe your DH would like it, but it's still tailored. Otherwise...
Adair
Campbell
Ellery
Everly
Hadley
Juniper
Tierney
Vale

So, update. We're thinking of using the middle name Annalee - thoughts? It's too honor two relatives who have passed this last year - my grandmother, whose middle name was Ann, and DH's grandfather whose name was Lee.
BUT, that means the first name needs to sound good with it. Thoughts about which names sound good with Annalee?
watermelon / 14467 posts
@coopsmama: I like it! Maybe a one syllable name since the middle name is three syllables?
Claire
Blake
Aerin
Teagan

@avivoca: That's what I'm thinking. I made DH go through this thread the other night and the only one he liked is Sloane and I'm wondering if that goes - Sloane Annalee? Blake Annalee is cute too.
hostess / papaya / 10540 posts
@coopsmama: Lol! It goes great with that middle name, but Blake does also.
wonderful clementine / 24134 posts
The N in Quinn and the N in Annalee/Leanne is a bit much for me.
cantaloupe / 6059 posts
@T.H.O.U.: I actually prefer names that mirror a bit like that. My daughter has a similar feel.
