EGGY UPDATE: it appears eggy has fallen from the nest =*( i just took a smiley OPK test (8:30pm here) and this is was i saw... no smile, just emptiness. kind of fitting. DH should be home from work in a bit and i guess we should still DTD just incase, but i feel like maybe the CBEFM was wrong. such a terrible day for children anyway. almost feels wrong to attempt to make one on such a horrific day! i'm surprised at how sad a feel about seeing that lil egg pic disappear. it looked like it would have been a beautiful egg baby =( on to fertility drugs i guess. 19 months off bc & i'm not gettin any younger. booooo. today turned out to be not such a great day after all. except for you guys. you've all made me feel special, thanks for that! it means a lot to feel like people are routing for you and care, i love HB!

@mrs. bird: awww I'm so sorry. I say DTD with your adorbs hubby anyway.. can't hurt to practice and give it a shot, right? and I think it's a beautiful day to try, all those babies going back up to heaven, it would only be fitting to bring another one into the world. Fingers crossed for baby birdie and good luck!!!

I'd still try. BTW, love the title of this post and how it's only in a community like this that we would get so excited over eggy. I love how supportive this group is!

@mrs. wagon: We DTD! I told him earlier that I saw the egg pic but then when he got home I didn't have the heart to tell him i didn't get a smiley. He was cute, I was worried it'd be too much pressure with him knowing, but he jumped in bed and said, 'let's make a baby!'
@MaisyMay: I think all the eggy support on HB helped me with yesterday! There was so much sad, but it makes me think of the mr Rogers quote I kept seeing yesterday, and all of you are the helpers: “When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. On a brighter note: EGGY UPDATE! This morning I did my CBEFM and.... Eggy came back!! I guess I'll have to do a smiley later (you're supposed to do non monitor OPKs in the late afternoon, right??). Good thing we did it! And we'll do it again today & tomorrow just in case! : )

@mrs. bird: i know absolutely nothing about opks and your eggy machine, BUT i have faith that eggy wasn't a mistake & this is your month!! c'mon baby birdy!

@Mrsbird You could try this afternoon and see what happens, do you have any corresponding symptoms (EWCM, high cervix, etc)? I just think since the monitor knows your previous cycles, it will recognize O better than a digital OPKs...
