@bhbee: I'm set to test sometime this weekend. I might tomorrow since we're meeting up with friends for the basketball games? I hate testing, LOL.

Ladies, this morning was rough. The doctor came in to do the IUI and he was really concerned about DH count. Compared to a year ago when he got his SA done it was dismal. Post wash was 7 million with 90% motility. The doctor said he likes to see at least 10 million but since the motility was good he went forward with the IUI. We were devastated. I just don't know what to think. DH wants to repeat the test before our vacation next month to see if the last results were an anomaly. I ended up just taking the day off because I was too upset and not in the right head space to be at work today.

@MrsTal: I'm sorry, but don't be too discouraged! My RE always said they like to see at least 2M post-wash. Fingers crossed for you

@MrsTal: I'm sorry! We were always told 1M is what they are looking for. Hopefully it will still be a successful cycle.

DH and I are focusing on each other this weekend! We haven't had a day off awhile due to his new crazy work schedule and we both have Friday-Sunday off My birthday is this Sunday, so we will just be lazy most of the weekend and get out to a dinner at least. (We bought a new car this weekend- and I drive it so he is trying to find any excuse to go anywhere so he can drive).
As far as updates: I just stopped all the bleeding from the chemical and am going to give my body a break.. For at least a month. All infertility is out of pocket- so I really want to do my research and find a good specialist by me to see (if anyone knows any in the Naperville il area). Other than being super sad and feeling like I was dealt a horrible hand of cards, nothing is new.

@babycanuk: @littlek: I should take a page from your book and say I'm going to focus on working out. I feel like I put on a little bit of a winter coat this year, and it's time to shed 5 pounds!
@Leailou: we can put you in the "hanging out" crowd. Are you feeling good about things, or does it all feel far away?
@Mrs. Polish: happy you're still checking in here! I think you will be an awesome foster family! Will you want to foster to adopt?
@lindsayinNY: I've just stopped by St. Maarten on a cruise. Gorgeous. Where will you be staying? Are you testing today? It's good to see an RE--for information and a renewed sense of hope.
@MrsTal: I know that feeling of disappointment. I felt the same way when I only had one follicle last time. But then I remind myself that it only takes 1 egg and 1 sperm for it to work! I hope you're in a better head space.
@mrs bunchy: happy birthday a little early! Do you have a favorite restaurant to go to? I'm sorry you're feeling so sad. I really hope this weekend can cheer you up.
@faithfertility: thank you for sharing that. I know I've said it before, but I so appreciate your positive attitude--it is helpful and comforting!
@shutterbug: Eight is great! I don't know this about IVF--what is the reason for a 5 day or 3 day transfer? Oh, could be transferring today? Good luck! Keep us updated.
@just_ju: Beta on Tuesday--got it! I'm sorry I failed on the list. I think it's helpful for keeping up with everything. We're broke as well! When is your birthday?
@mrs. pinata: do you miss teaching Spanish? That's a big age change!
@lazypanda: Way to go, lazypanda's body, for showing up at the right time. Where will you be going again?
@bluestriped bee: go with the new RE! You want to be with the best.

THANK YOU! I appreciate you all checking in. I tried typing a report in the hospital but was still too loopy. The surgery went well. They found and removed endo. I didn't get all the info, but one area my husband remembers is it being on my cervix. The RE seems optimistic that this lap is going to really help us out. I spent yesterday mainly sleeping and will try out going for a walk today. Shoulder pain is helped greatly by a heating pad (thanks @mrs.win:!) Oh, and the pain meds are great. If anything I've written doesn't make sense or is filled with typos, I'm blaming the meds.

@Happygal: yay!! Glad to see your lap went well, and that they found something (only because hopefully that will be THE thing that was getting in your way!) For the IVF transfer, they prefer to do day 5 so that they can better identify the best embryo(s). If I were to do day 3, it would be because there were already two obvious 'winners' (or maybe the only ones left). I got the call yesterday that we're doing day 5, so Monday Hope you have a nice restful day today!!

@Shutterbug: okay, this is embarrassing, but I thought it meant they were taking 3 days to transfer everything! It's the pain meds, people! Monday is a big day! Rest up and enjoy your weekend.
@littlek: thanks! Where are you in the TWW now?

@bluestriped bee: You may not be asking for advice, but I DEFINITELY think the 2nd RE is the way to go. I almost always vote for looking for more information if possible. Although I Know it's SO, SO hard to not get started when you want to. But, what if the 2nd RE finds something and it could be something that could be helped with meds, etc? I'm glad you found a better RE though! In Nashville, there's pretty much just one place to go, which totally stinks.

@HappyGal: I'm going to New Orleans for 4 days. I've never been so definitely looking forward to it. And yay for the lap going well! FX this is what expedites your journey to motherhood.
@MrsBunchy: I'm sorry for your loss.

@littlek: @bluestriped bee: @LindsayInNY: @FaithFertility: @Mrs. Polish: thank you for the kind words. I appreciate it so much.
@Shutterbug: @Leialou: that makes me feel better and makes me wonder if my RE was just more concerned about how much it changed since our last test.
@bhbee: how did your IUI go friend? Thank you for the encouragement.
@Happygal: thank you for the kind words, I'm glad your lap went well, and hope you are recovering nicely.

@MrsTal: IUI was fine, a little extra poking around to get the catheter in but nothing horrible. I am really happy to be busy this cycle and not thinking too hard about the outcome. I started my endometrin tonight . . . not a fan of that (and I don't really believe progesterone matters for me since I still had a chemical on it) but giving this cycle everything we have.
I'm planning to test on 10dpo (3/31) to see if my trigger is out, and laying low until then. hoping we both get good news

@shutterbug: thinking about you today and hoping for all good things!
@BhBEE: welcome to the TWW! Sorry to hear they had to be extra poke-y for your IUI and that the endometrin has begun--yuck!
I think my body is starting to feel a little more normal today. I was so bloated the past few days that it gave me an idea what I would look like pregnant!

Hi Ladies! Its been a while since I've checked in with you all, but I have been keeping up with how you're doing
I'm finally somewhat confident in my pregnancy (19w), that I'm ready to pass on my OPKs and HPTs before they expire. This may not be the best thread for it, but I wanted to give my favorite support group first dibs, since you all helped make my journey less lonely. Here's what I have:
1 FRER (exp 8/15)
10 Wondfo HPTs from Amazon (exp 10/15)
13 Wondfo OPKs from Amazon (exp 11/14)
I'll break it up into 2 shipments, just wall me your address and I'll send it off. Either all HPTs and all OPKs, or half of each to 2 people.

@Mrs.Someone: holy crap 19 weeks already! Congrats!! I have more than enough FRERs and wondfos, but you're sweet to offer them up
@bhbee: thanks for checking in! I posted a picture of the embryos of the IVF thread... we transferred two expanded blastocysts this morning. Everything went really well and now I'm just trying to think cozy uterus thoughts, haha.
