@Sunshine1810: such a cute baby. Sorry for the meds mix up--I've done something similar, and it IS stressful!
@CupQuakeWalk: good luck with your appointment tomorrow!
@lazypanda: you're right--it takes just one! Do they post stuff online for you?
nectarine / 2433 posts
@lazypanda: At least at my clinic the volume of the sample post wash is always the same (2 mls??) because it has to fit into the catheter so that doesn't actually tell you anything about the other post wash numbers

@Sunshine1810: What a cute puppy! I'm glad that mixing the vials was easier the second time around but how stressful!
@CupQuakeWalk: FX that they can get your thyroid in check easily
@LindsayInNY: Family vacation sounds like fun

@Happygal: Since I'm not feeling too good about it, I actually don't really want to know. They do not post the details online but if I ask for it, the nurses will email me the number. It's alright though, I'm going to put in my request for time off to go to Hawaii at the end of the month. Hopefully, this will be what works for us. DH said it would be my belated present since I had such a depressing birthday weekend.
@MrsWin: thanks! Knowing that makes me feel better.
I'm also trying to keep a more "relaxed" attitude this cycle. No OPK-ing or testing out my trigger this time around.

I'm scared all of a sudden. I am shaking. I am in my car waiting for my husband so we can get into this appointment and I am getting SO EMOTIONAL. I already know a little of what to expect (heart shaped uterus and hypothyroidism) but I am nervous still. It's like a huge pity party over here.
I dropped my son off at daycare and he cried. I almost died. I'm like, "maybe I should just be happy with him for a few more years instead of putting him through this." Not that I'm "putting him through" anything (he loves daycare usually) but I guess mom guilt was at an all-time high this morning.
Anyway- thanks for letting me spill my guts. I'm going to grab a coffee from the hospital kiosk and go up to my appointment in about 5min!! Wish us luck, please

@CupQuakeWalk: Good luck with your appointment. Sorry about the mommy guilt this morning, I'm sure it made it tougher than usual. I'm sure the RE will have a good plan for you

@CupQuakeWalk: good luck! Hope it's going well.
@Leialou:
I still have hope for you - I've heard with a FET it can take longer to implant/show up on HPTs.

@Leialou: Definitely hold out hope with your FET!! I got a at 7dp5dt and then a very faint
the next day!

I had my hysteroscopy and mock transfer yesterday for my upcoming FET. Smooth sailing. All my bloodwork looks good (even prolactin which I was worried about because I just stopped breastfeeding less than two weeks ago), so we are scheduled for a transfer on July 15th!

@Leialou: Ugh. That's still early, so I hope you get a BFP tomorrow!

@Leialou: I'm sorry you had to see that negative this AM. I would pretend it never happened. You're definitely early and absolutely still in the game. I have such high hopes for you!
@GreenThumb: That's less than 6 weeks away! 6w is no time in ttc land:) Good luck.
Thanks everyone for your good luck wishes. We came out with a 3 month plan after he gave us lots of options. He is aggressive but my DH is not. So, we met halfway.
1-2M: Synthroid and Clomid and Estrgoen (with Progesterone in the 2nd half of cycle) with maximum-level (every other day!) monitoring throughout and T.I.
3rd M: All that but instead of T.I., we're doing IUI and he said he would also up my clomid and or Synthroid at that point if needed (and he highly doubts it'll be needed).
After those 3 months, if that all doesn't work (he said he is almost sure it will), he said we can continue with IUI or IVF, depending on how defeated we feel He said it shouldn't come to that, but he will not hesitate to escalate the situation if need be, as he thinks we are great candidates.
So, I guess my update for this week is: "starting month 1 of new plan!" Although really--I have to wait for this cycle to end to actually begin "month 1" of our 3 month plan.
p.s: he said he looked at all my films from my u/s, and he doesn't think my uterus is that bad, to the point where i'd stand in the way of my getting pregnant. He said sometimes they can cause pre-term labor, but in my case (I have given birth and I went full term), my chances f preterm are slim.

@Leialou: FX that you'll get your BFP soon!
@GreenThumb: yay for great bloodwork and your scheduled transfer!
We're waiting for approval for our PTO so we can purchase our vacation package to Hawaii! White beaches, snorkeling, relaxing, and hiking sounds so great to me right now. I also was thinking that I won't be too disappointed if I don't get a BFP this time around since it means that I'll be able to have ahi tuna poke with limu when I'm in Hawaii! I'm also starting to get back to my "normal" self. I definitely had varying moods and not the most pleasant around DH. Sometimes I wonder how he is able to put up with all these mood swings.
3 positives:
1. A couple of my clients expressed their appreciation of the work we've done.
2. Its a short work week for me because I have forced PTO that I'll lose if I don't take time off.
3. I'm not feeling quite so hopeless anymore!

@lazypanda: oh yeah, they contacted us the same day we got our BFP and let us know we were being considered with a group of finalist. They wanted us to take an "ivf success test" that measures the chances of success based on our info. We withdrew our application after our second beta but I am nervous.

@lazypanda: I am not sure if Isis is the sleepy one from the first picture, but it kind of looks like her! She has that sleepy look too, but I am sure a lot of puppies do in the early stages! Have fun planning for Hawaii!!! So exciting!!!

@bluestriped bee: FX for you!
I just got a call from the nurse, progesterone 7dpo is 15 so no edometrin needed, thank goodness. But my RE wants to schedule an appointment to discuss other options if this cycle isn't successful... I'm guessing she wants to talk about starting to think about and do IVF. 4 rounds of clomid, 1 femera, 2 IUIs... is it time to give it up and go for IVF.... maybe one more IUI?
hostess / wonderful apple seed / 16729 posts
@PurplePumps: It depends. How do YOU feel? You want to move to IVF or stick with one more IUI? I know I was really ready to move to IVF after my third Failed IUI. But here I am doing an IUI after my new diagnosis.
nectarine / 2433 posts
@bluestriped bee: Good luck! Let the TWW begin
@PurplePumps: Our RE was willing to try up to 6 IUI's but given our issues we stopped after 4 and decided it was time to move on to IVF
