I made an attempt ten days ago when Miss A (nine months old) was on a biting mission - she was not amused but then again neither were my nipples...

I have a question! I work away from home an average of 60 hours a week, and DD has a bottles of bm while I'm away, and nurses when we're together. Am I ebf? Or is it only ebf when there are no bottles involved? TIA!

@Mommytotwois: I'm not sure! I use the term both ways...to mean exclusively nursing with my baby and with nursing/bottles of pumped milk with my older LO!
I wonder how other bees define EBF!
GOLD / coconut / 8266 posts
@Mommytotwois: I look at it as my LO is exclusively getting breast milk for the time being, whether it's from the breast or bottle, so I'm ebf. I could be completely wrong though

@swedishfish: @autumnlove: that's how I've been WANTING to use it but I shy away from saying IBF because I don't wan to be wrong because we also bottle feed but not formula feed!

LO is 13.5 months and her last bottle was around 5 months (pumped milk). She has had no bottles since then - she hated bottles and maybe had a total of about 15 in her life.

@Mommytotwois: I consider that EBF.
Lorelei has never had a bottle. But she does drink from a cup now that she is older!

I consider it EBF if your LO is exclusively on breastmilk, regardless of whether it's straight from the source or expressed and in a bottle.
Xander's last bottle was this morning. He spent the weekend with his grandparents!

We tried once or twice when she was 3 months (5 mos now) and she was not a fan. I never really pushed it though.

She's having one right now. DH gives her a bottle of pumped milk every night at bedtime.
