I think the first time was 7 months and she was fussy so I immediately chalked it up to a reaction. Tried pizza (I did) around 10 and she did fine. Then slowly got a little more brave. At 12.5 months she had whole milk and around 13 months she had yogurt. No reaction either time.

LO had a dairy intolerance (green mucousy stools with flecks of blood on occasion) so I cut dairy at 8 weeks. Started being less careful about giving foods that might have dairy in them (bread etc) around 9 months. Gave cheese/yogurt at 10 months. No issues. Just started cow's milk at 12 months. No issues so far...

My son didn't have a huge reaction to me having milk (gassy and more spit up) & I've kept eating cheeses, etc. He's 8 months now & we're going to try out some yogurt next week!

I began eliminating dairy at 2 weeks old (and countless other foods...eventually on a total elimination diet of only 3 foods). DS is 2 and has not been exposed to dairy in any form since it cleared our systems when we removed it in infancy.

Eliminated dairy at 2 months, I stopped being careful about 'hidden' or 'traces of' dairy around 11-12 months for me. At 14 months she's now eating things that might containg traces of dairy but still no yogurt or cheese. We use almond yogurt and rice cheese. She's not complaining and I'm not rushed to put her on dairy at this point.
