Do you wipe them down before bed? With my DS I never did but with my DD I feel like I need to use a baby wipe and clean her up before bed! Am I the only one that does this??

I've definitely never heard of that, but most of my experience is with babies so far.

I think my SIL uses a baby wipe on my niece after she goes to the bathroom each time, so I guess that would kinda be the same thing?

I guess she isn't great at wiping yet and if its not a bath night she has toilet paper stuck there - I can't just leave it!

@Mamaof2: I don't see anything wrong with cleaning the area a little better! Some women take a shower every day for hygiene purposes, so this would be similar!

It wasn't really part of the routine per se, but we did double check her pretty often. I actually kind of remember my mom giving us bum washes at the end of the day if it wasn't a bath night!

I do usually. I dont feel like she gets cleaned very well after she goes potty even when I wipe her.

LO isn't potty trained, but this is one reason we try to give her a bath every night. I at least want her to sit in the water for a few minutes. I'm sure we'll continue that even after she potty trains this summer (fingers crossed).

We do baths every night. If we were short on time I would at least shower her off a bit but she loves her baths and it's part of her bedtime routine

@chopsuey: same. I get the flushable wipes from costco and have a pack in every bathroom and use them for #2 and just flush them

I use baby wipes to wipe her every time she goes potty. I want to ensure that she's thoroughly clean - I don't feel like toilet paper gets the job done well enough.

@Mamaof2: we use wipes quite often still (#2) but I do clean her better at night.

Shoot, DH and i use flush able wipes ourselves and we are grown ass adults, heh. They're awesome for getting clean without, erm, scrubbing
