Hellobee Boards

We had to EP from the start, and just used medela bottles with evenflo nipples we got from the hospital. At week two we moved to the medela calma nipple, and by week three he was. EBF.

We tried Avent at first but after a couple times wouldn't take it. Ended up with Tommee working the best.

For DD we used Dr. Brown's.
For DS Tommee Tippee

Well, they both got ready to feed bottles of formula at the hospital, but once we got home and my milk came in I used the above!

@anbanan15: I could have used the dr browns, but I was too lazy to wash all the parts.
Plus my DD recognized DB as being her old bottles.

We introduced a bottle at 3 weeks. LO couldn't really figure out any of them except the mOmma bottle. It's easy to clean, too!

Right away for both kids. Dr. Brown's and Mam!

@anbanan15: ugh no nursing issues at all. My kids actually prefer my boob over bottles. -.- Both went on bottle strikes at around 2 months old. Ive been ebf my son since..!

We used Tommee, which worked great at first, but then DS went on bottle strike. Then he would only take Mams, which was fine but they are AWFUL to heat up- they take forever! DD has always taken anything.

We supplemented from the start and just kept going with giving a bottle a day of pumped milk. We preferred Avent bottles with MAM nipples.

We just used Tommee Tippee closer to nature.

No probs with nipple confusion. ....she actually had more trouble refusing bottle than refusing boob.

We're thinking abourt rying the joovy with #2.

My LC recommended Playtex nursers. DD loved them and had no confusion going back and forth. I also loved the added convenience of throwing away the liner after each feed!

@anbanan15: Como Tomo! I'm kind of obsessed with our bottles. They're one of my fave baby purchases. They were recommended by a LC. I know @mrsbee used them with success as well.

@anbanan15: Nope! They're reinforced around the collar. I've been EPing for 7+ months now so our bottles have gotten a lot of use. I don't have one complaint about these bottles!

Btw, the bottles themselves didn't effect LO's BFing habits. We switched to exclusively pumping bc LO had severe reflux and I had an overactive letdown.. plus, i like the convenience of others feeding her.

I bottle fed for the first 3 or 4 weeks and used the tommee tippee closer to nature ones. we've had no issues with nipple confusion at all

@anbanan15: Leaking liquid gold is def grounds for being replaced! Only time the CT bottle leaks is when I assemble it wrong (don't put the nipple in the ring correctly) and I'm sure that I'm the only dummy who messes that up! They're really great bottles. I'm sure you'll love them!

We used a tube with a syringe and finger fed for the first week. Then we introduced the ComoTomo bottle around 2.5 weeks. I don't think we had trouble with nipple confusion, though I think my daughter's latch did get slightly worse when we introduced the bottle. I had to continually retrain her.
